We met with George to discuss a very small guttering job..he sized it up.. gave us a reasonable quote and did the job there and then (lots of companies didn; t want the job because it waas too small) Anyway.. after talking to George and finding out more about his company asked him to quote for a damaged ceiling that included artex,, We wanted the whole of the dining/kitchen area re-skimmed. Once the price and a date was agreed George sent us a message the weekend before to check if we still required the work doing, He turned up on time,.brought in his equipment and began work immediately,, We felt so at home with him here that we happily left him here whilst we went out shopping etc. On our return he explained what had been completed and what he would do the following day, Again..he turned up on time and got straight to it, and once again we left him in our home.. He has done a fantastic job of giving us back a lovely flat ceiling. no more artex I would highly recommend him.. take the time to check out his companies web site. He was really nice and prompt and did a good job. The reason for the rating is that he initially quoted £250 + 80 for his mate. When I said that it was too much he reduced the price to £125 for 1/2 day. The job only took an hour. I feel if I hadnt objected to the original price he would happily have taken it. We also provided our own slates. More...
