Recently received my haircut & lash life in Gro and I cannot recommend it enough - the team were amazing, they really listened to what I need and gave me some great suggestion too on what they think is suitable. I was a bit late for my appointment, so they had to stay an open bit later to finish my lashes, but all the staff were very accommodating, remained the same level of professionalism and friendliness. Having recently moved to London, I was looking for a hairdressers that was rated well and affordable. Luckily, I came across Gro. I was booked in with Laura to have a full set of highlights with a toner and trim! I would highly recommend her service. From the moment she began on my hair, I knew she would do it exactly how I wanted it! She took time, care and consideration and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my hair and did exactly what I asked! I left a very pleased customer and have already booked my next visit! Got an email as I haven't been back for a while with a great welcome back offer, I took it up but abit hesitant to get my roots done as I have a blonde ombre with dark roots and a few scattered highlights, I needed the grey roots covered and Rosie did an amazing job it was only her second day but she is very very good at what she does, techniques are a bit different to what I'm used to but they do the trick. She also did a toner for me through the blonde it's much more darker than I normally have but it makes sense with the dark roots to blend better and it will wash out in a few washes anyway, it looks very healthy and shiny. The salon was nice an chilled the Italian receptionist (sorry darling forgot your name) is very nice and friendly. I go back to a hairdresser near my parents in Essex but it's great knowing Rosie is just around the corner. More...

This week I’ve had my hair dyed twice at different hair salons in which they left my hair in a horrible state and very damaged. Resulting in them dying my hair jet black from a balayage! As you can imagine me being pale and having black hair really didn’t go well together. I was looking to have a quick solution considering I’m leaving to go on holiday tomorrow.Bo really worked his magic and managed to get all the hideous black colour out.. I thought it would be impossible and thats why I’m so thankful for all the time and effort he put into helping me out. He done an amazing job and he’s a lovely person. I have been coming to Gro Clapham South since it opened. I highly recommend Bo - I always come out of the salon with the most beautiful blonde hair that lasts. Clapham is lucky to have such a talented hair stylist!!

Will and Spyros are the best. I did colouring twice with Will. He's a pro, does great job & can advise for haircare. Spyros was still practicing but I loved his blow dry job. My baby highlights are in a nice creamy colour, softly blended in my natural hair. My natural hair is dark blond and I didn' gone for toner, though they still look gorgeous! Haven't seen Spyros cutting or colouring, but he clearly can do a stunning hair look. Plus they both care for you to be happy with result, listen well, and have a sense of humor. Bo is an amazing stylist and colourist. He always takes the time to listen to what I want and makes recommendations for what he knows will suit me and my hair. He uses the latest colouring techniques and the result is fantastic, natural looking and long lasting. My cut is always to the highest standard and very easy to manage myself. On top of all that, Bo is caring and fun and I always look forward to my visits with him. I have been going to Bo for some years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Gro is the by far the best hairdressers I have ever been. All the staff are polite and friendly and the hairdressers work miracles. Beautiful salon, Beautiful hair, Beautiful People!

Been in Aus for 7 years with the same stylist and was doubtful of a colorist being able to recreate the exact desired look - but the team at Gro totally did!

The attention to detail was outstanding, and the level of customer service was really rare.

One of the stylists even ran to get an umbrella so my blowdry survived - What a legend!

...Certainly not super cheap - but absolutely worth every penny.
