I haven’t been here since the new building
But today my company got to work there magic decorating for The Billericay School Prom.
The building is among the best I’ve seen it’s clean and very well decorated with it being a pleasure to work at.
We decorate so many venues for weddings/events, but I have to say the management and staff where attentive and so polite with nothing being a problem whilst we worked there.
Highly recommend this venue.

Had the most amazing day here! Everything was top notch, from the relaxing treatments, the swimming/sauna area to the delicious 3 course lunch!
Staff extremely friendly and accommodating....Mother’s Day treat and she couldn’t be happier!!

My daughter and I came here for a spa day and overnight stay . It was excellent value we had excellent treatments our ladies were very attentive . only thing just had to keep asking for milk at breakfast . Would definitely recommend and will come again next year . More...

My daughter & myself have been coming here for 10 years now, (it's our birthday treat as we both have Christmas birthdays), so thats a recommendation in its self! !!, so our recent visit didn't disappoint, we had a lovely morning relaxing in the spa with a swim, sauna, steam room & jucuzzi, the beds around the pool are new & very comfortable & there are plenty of them, the decor is very pretty & relaxing. The afternoon consisted of a wonderful & relaxed lunch in the very friendly restaurant, as always the food was amazing & huge , then into the quite room to wait our time for our treatments which were also perfect,, back to the very restful quite room to read & sleep for a while (well it is what a spa day is all about)!!!, then off to the lounge /bar for a coffee by the open fire before heading home after a perfect day of rest & relaxation. Just thought that this time the wine was a bit expensive at £8 a glass & coffee at £4 a cup although we did enjoy both, see you next year although we must make a point to try your afternoon tea �� More...

Myself and my parents along with my sister had afternoon tea yesturday it was lovely we all enjoyed the beautiful warm scones and cakes all in all we had a very nice afternoon served by a happy to help waiter so thank you very much indeed.

Thoroughly enjoyed a spa day with 2 course lunch and mini facial booked through Virgin Experience Days.
Very good value for money.
Unfortunately 2 of my friends did not enjoy their lunches for various reasons although mine was ok.
However, the manager did give all 4 of us a complimentary dessert to apologise.
Everything else was lovely. Beautiful setting, lovely clean spa facilities and a very relaxing facial by a polite and professional therapist.
Came home feeling relaxed and happy.

Wonderful Spa Day yesterday with friends Debbie Cartwright and Sandra Woodward. The spa area, pool and quiet relaxation rooms were lovely and completely chilled us out from start to finish. The food was amazing and the staff friendly and knowledable. I've stayed at Greenwoods twice now whilst working in Essex.
Overall it's a nice place: lovely grounds, rooms are relatively luxurious compared to other hotels in the area, a good choice of places to eat within walking distance, and also the room service food is great.
The only negative for me is the breakfasts, which have been basic and a bit bland on both occasions.

Have just stayed here for two nights and we would highly recommend this place! It’s beautiful with stunning gardens and views! All the spa facilities are amazing! Food was delicious ! We had a premium room and it was a fantastic room! Could not really fault anything! Drinks were a little pricey but you got to expect that for the quality of the hotel! Attended a beautiful wedding on Friday 8th June, the venue, food and service were amazing! I would like to say a special thank you to Charlotte the wedding coordinator, I was asked by the bride to make sure everything was being set up exactly how she wanted it on the day of her wedding and Charlotte was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings. The only small complaint I would have is we had two children with us and there aren’t any family rooms for two adults and two children, we had to bring a blow up bed with us. More...

I don't write reviews too often, especially in a work capacity but after photographing a wedding here recently we thought it only fair to give credit where it's due! The day was so well run and well managed. Communication was excellent and meant the day ran smoothly. This aspect is something lacking at so many venues so it was a pleasant surprise! The food was also excellent and all the staff friendly and approachable. The venue itself has come on leaps and bounds since the marquee has gone, the space is now light, airy and spacious. We visited this hotel after finding a deal for dinner, overnight stay and a treatment ... and it did not disappoint.
The rooms are nice and spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
We visited the spa area, which was lovely, and had a lovely treatment each. We also visited the restaurant for dinner. The food was fantastic.
Was a brilliant visit and will definitely return in the future.
