I was made aware of Grandstation through close friends. Within 1 week of the initial query I received a call from Pav and was paying deposit on my 1st appointment to host my wedding at Grandstation. The process was explained clearly, with regular updates and handled very smoothly by Pav. Manni was professional, courteous and demonstrated full expertise about wedding planning. Booked the hall for a surprise birthday party for my husband on the 13th of May 2023 and the sales lady we met at the beginning was very helpful. We booked for self catering buffet for our guests. On the day of the party the event manager Hani and his team stood by and Hani went the extra mile to make sure that the party was successful. Guests were complimentary on how the party was organised. We held my husband’s 50th party here in April. From our first meeting with Hayley to party coordinator Danielle to Hani who looked after us on the evening of the party nothing was too much trouble! They all went above and beyond our expectations to make the evening so special. Hani even made sure food was bought over to our table to make sure we would eat. He also made sure we had the photos that when looking back now we would have forgotten about! Our guests were so impressed it really was a party of a lifetime. My partner and I received attentive care from Hemma at Grand Station when it came to booking the hall for our wedding reception. She set up multiple meetings for us and our families to view the venue. Hemma was extremely thorough in detailing exactly what is provided in booking at Grand Station, which made the process feel comfortable and as though you’re in very good hands. He truly went over and beyond in regards to looking after me, keeping me calm, making me laugh when I was nervous and being there any time I needed anything.. I was the mother of the bride on the 4th April 2023 The Grand Central was an excellent venue to hold my daughter’s wedding Special thanks to Hani who was exemplary. Hani made himself available at anytime via the telephone and was always visible during the reception. He attended to our every need . Nothing was too much. He was respectful, professional, well mannered and above all he treated the wedding as if it were his own. He was passionate about how he executed the care love and attention to my daughters wedding. Grand station truely stands up there as one of the best venues in the uk, not only the amazing character of this building but also the customer service. The management and events coordinators were so welcoming and took on all of our stressful demands. We asked for things that had never been done before which were delivered and even made better than the idea we bought forward. Not a single complaint from more than 700 guests that attended our wedding each and every single one had nothing but good words to say about the food, decor and customer service. I would just like to say how happy I have been with my sons Wedding two weeks ago. I was a bit nervous as my son and his now wife did most of the organising. So I wasn’t able to “poke my nose in” as much as I would have liked😊 However I have nothing but praise for the staff who went over and beyond duty for us. Nothing was too much for them. Our host Hani reassured me everything would be on point and it was. I was speechless when I saw the room on the day. I will be having my wedding here next year and if it continues the way it has I know it’s going to be an extremely easy process. My wedding co-ordinator is Manni, she has been so accommodating and considerate, any questions she has answered and has been great in her response and communication. 10 out 5! Hands down the best venue!!! If you're hesitating to book the venue, don't - just do it. We had a phenomenal experience. The below explains why. Summary of our experience: Put simply - THE BEST! Everything was perfect on the day, from start to finish. We as a couple were extremely happy and satisfied, guests were delighted and it was non stop smiles and laughter. Manni and Hani (our event managers) were extraordinary and made everything so easy and work so well. The best event managers you could hope for as they made everything so east. Food was amazing, lighting and heating were on point and the bridal and groom suites were lavish. Our event: Fantastic! We had booked GS for our wedding. This was three events in one day that we wanted to run with. Our reason as to why we chose to book was because of the venue having the space and facilities to accommodate all our plans and bags of experience in handling such events. The events we had were a civil wedding, hindu wedding and an evening reception/party for 200 people - no small feat but GS instilled us with confidence that they would have all in hand. The venue: Stunning! People are duped into a dream of manor houses etc because of Bridgerton. The reality is, these places can cost over the odds, be really cold inside, have quirky/small sized rooms which make it awkward to host certain events if you have larger guest lists and the main one - require you to bring everything in externally. GS have everything in house and so makes things hugely easy because of the one-stop-shop concept. This all helped enhance the look and feel of the building's interior and exterior as they complemented each other so perfectly. Decor: Beautiful! We chose decor that was suited to us and our preferences but we certainly were not short of choice. GS provided a catalogue of decor styles and pieces that blew us away and were spoiled for choice. Monisha (Decor manager) guided us through options in a meeting which was extremely useful. The execution of all took our breath away. Our head table was extremely romantic and we had floating candles littered around the room. Again, getting this all in a manor house would cost a fortune but GS have everything to hand and can make it all work to bring the venue to life. Food: Delicious! We had our tasting experience and were hugely impressed. As a result we had no hesitation with selecting the in house catering firm. All food on the day was delicious and portion sizes were generous. Just what we wanted for our guests and all guests loved it. We were even surprised that there were kids meals for the little ones. A lovely touch. Extras: Slick and professional! We had reservation signs and ceremonial leaflets printed. The team placed them all in the right areas and set up water bottles at the back of the ceremony room for our guests. It was brilliant! And we didn't want guests to be cold so the venue was nicely heated throughout the day for us. Music and AV: Great! Priyesh (AV manager) was great at taking my playlists and getting them all set up and playing correctly at volumes that worked for us all. Operations and logistics: Everything ran on time and was on plan. Manni and Hani were super! Calm and kept everything on track. Couldn't thank them (and the team more) enough. Always at hand and always responding to our questions and queries. They made things so easy before and on the day. It was super! Conclusion: If we had to go back in time/ had to do it again. I would whole heartedly choose Grand Station. Everything was PERFECT! We had the best time and so did our guests. That doesn't happen by fluke either. The team at GS take you as a client seriously and help you throughout. And if you help them out, you really see that being returned. If you're hesitating, don't. I must make it very clear that if my review was based only on the day of our wedding and our communication with H (Hani) alone, I would rate 5 stars if not above. H’s conduct and professionalism should be modelled by all Grand Station employees and those Grand Station proudly associate themselves with, However the lead up to our wedding day was extremely stressful due to the deception caused by any conversation which related to the total/potential cost of our plans. We personally had booked with Grand Station 18months before our Event. We were shown around a stunning hall, and given brochures that show the true beauty of the venue. We were presented with limited package options - which we only realised 6 weeks before our event at our first in-person meeting even when querying event details via email months prior. Do not expect details or thorough communication from Grand Station unless your event is imminent. You will continuously be fobbed of and reminded of your event date. Where I was disappointed with our treatment at Grand Station, i was more surprised at the unprofessional conduct of Monisha from Grand Decor. A separate business to Grand Station, from what I understand, however one Grand Station pride themselves of working with. To begin with, My husband and I were given the wrong location to attend our first Decor meeting. Given this was a date booked in weeks in advance, we both expected to see a well presented show room with many options for us to choose from. Instead my husband and I received no apology or explanation for the error in communication - meaning a further drive, and were taken to a room that was messy with personal belongings ie. Carrier bags, left over lunch ect and a cold reception from Monisha who quite frankly did not seem prepared. Upon opening her laptop, her first comment was that she had noticed we did not have a head table as part of our package and this alone would cost and extra £700 at minimum. Reminder- this appointment was 6 WEEKS BEFORE OUR WEDDING DAY. It was then apparent just how many ‘extra’s’ we would need to achieve the original dream we were sold 18months ago. In summary we spent an additional - unplanned almost £3000. Again, 6 weeks before our wedding day. We were then taken into - what I would assume is a stock room due to the utter mess - the show room. The show room which was a complete waste of time as images would have given much more justice to what we were actually shown. I was clear in explaining my disappointment to Monisha, but she didn’t seem to care. I remember asking specifically if we were the only couple to have reacted in this way to what we had been shown and she responded ‘yeah’ in such a blaze manner I just wanted the meeting to end. And so we left. Communication, Clarity and Honesty must be improved. I wish we had met our event coordinator Hani sooner in our process. He made our day absolutely perfect and went above and beyond. Brides if you are able to request to work with him specifically, then do. Hani greeted us politely and professionally and was always there. It felt like as soon as I looked up during our night in an attempt to find him, he was so attentive, he was there. I was incredibly nervous about how our day would go because of the lead up to the day but Hani put every worry at ease. Both him and our DJ stood in for our MC who dropped out last minute and Hani made sure everything went to plan even when we may have been doubtful. All in all it is the planning process and lead up to our event that taints my experience and our experience on a whole. The day itself was incredible and I can not thank Hani and our DJ enough. Our guests also commented that the food was delicious. Advice? Ask for all information regarding the potential cost of your event ASAP! We held our all day wedding here and it was the most beautiful day we could of wished for. The staff were absolutely fantastic right through from the planning to the day. They went above and beyond for their guests and honestly nothing was too much for them. Timings were down to a t, and the rooms were decorated so beautifully. Our event manager on the day was Hani, he was just amazing from last minute alterations to signs, providing support to me before the ceremony and ensuring that both me and my husband were catered to at all times and making sure everything ran perfectly.
