Yes, it's quaint. But also lovely, roomy, and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The salmon at Nicky Tam's was delicious.

We booked and payed the room online and it worked well. The room and beds were very comfortable and I liked the breakfast. It's central and you can reach everything really quick. More...

Nice informal hotel on the river Ness near the town centre. Double rooms are large. Good Scottish breakfast. If something is not there ask the staff and they will make it.

Had a delicious lunch here the other day. Chicken croquettes with anchovies might sound like a crazy combination but omg they were amazing. Cosy ambience with friendly and attentive staff. More...

I really enjoyed staying here. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The rooms are split between several buildings next to each other, with a key card to access the front door to the building you will be in, and your room, the key card will easily fit in your wallet/purse. The room was a decent size with on suite bathroom with a powerful shower. The ' double bed ' was 2 singles pushed together, but they never moved, no sense of falling between them. Breakfast consisted of a help yourself buffet, With cooked food and cereals. And dinner in the bar/restaurant was enjoyed by both my wife and I. Overall, a good 2 nights away. More...

Really nice room!! Clean and tidy, big and comfy! Staff really helpful and fast to help. Good food in the restaurant and for breakfast! Though when there's not much people, the staff tend to linger and watch you in the restaurant, to be able to help in car it's needed I'm sure, but it can feel a bit stressing. But I would not hesitate to stay here again!! Such a nice place and city! Love it!! More...

Rooms are fine, clean and the bar is nice. Staff is also friendly (very friendly), but internet is extremely slow except for if you pay extra, which should be forbidden. Seriously... Just unlock the fast internet access for everyone. Other than that we had a very nice stay More...

Stayed there for 2 nights in 2 different rooms. Beds are really good and rooms are big (classic double room in Alexander building)food is good (fair price for the quality and amount) and the service is great. Had an issue and they solved it properly. It has a nice view over the river in Inverness. More...

Good location looking over the river and near the main pubs and clubs. Friendly staff. Breakfast was buffet style, good selection but the layout wasn't the greatest.

Me and my partner had a great time at Glen Mhor. Very friendly and helpful staff. We received a free upgrade because we wanted a room with a bath. Perfect location, free parking and beautiful view of the river. We would recommend and would book again. More...

There are multiple buildings of the hotel spread across the street overlooking the river. The rooms were basic and nothing special. The adjacent hotel building had fire alarms falsely triggered twice. It was inconvenient at 4 in the morning to be told the alarm was in the adjoining hotel building and it was falsely triggered. Overall a cost effective place if one requires an overnight stay. Parking at the hotel is free. More...

Pretty good.
Pros: Room was a decent size, nice bath and great shower, lovely river views. Generous with the tea and coffee in room. Bed nice and big and fairly firm. Very quiet, a peaceful night.
Cons: The bed wasn't a double but two singles pushed together, which we only realised when we got under the duvet. Toilet wasn't actually attached to the floor! Carpet wasn't worn out but was quite stained. There were a fair few chips on the skirting paintwork.

Didn't drink in the bar or eat in the restaurant but the bar looks lovely and they lent us a couple of wine glasses, no problem.
Overall, nice enough, none of the 'problems' were really problems to us and we would happily stay again.

We had rooms 611 & 612 overlooking the river, 612 was a twin room for my teenagers small but perfectly functional. Our's was 611 a large room both looked to have been refurbished recently. A few additions and it would have been perfect ie a mirror above the dressing table and hooks/shelves in the shower room. All in all a great venue, location and the food in restaurant was also nice however it was a warm room with no windows or air con. More...
