We've had two photo shoots with Marie and we have really enjoyed it both times. Marie is very friendly and professional and has some great ideas to bring out your best side for family photos, along with some excellent props to use as well. The quality of the photos you receive are absolutely superb.

Marie took some photos of my house for a website and when I came to look at them I hardly recognized the rooms in my house; the photos were so well done and very professional. Marie also uploaded the photos she took to the website on my behalf and will send me a copy of them on disk.
I was extremely pleased with the result, she did an excellent job all round. I wouldn't hesitate to use Ginger Roots Photography again.

I came to ginger roots back June when my baby boy was finally well enough to have his photo taken. I'm so glad I did- they are fabulazing! ! Marie was brilliant with us and had the patience of a saint as we tried to get him to sleep and she handled him as one of her own x with such a relaxed atmosphere, 4 hrs flew by! Marie is lovely she puts you at ease from the word go very friendly and totally professional. We loved being able to bring our dog and include him in the family shoot too, Marie was so relaxed about our pooch being there and every let him play outside in their garden whilst we had piccies of our daughter done first. We booked a newborn shoot for our son, he came a little earlier than expected and Marie kindly brought our appointment forward. We went when he was 6 days old, it was our first proper outing with him and instantly she put us at ease, gave us loads of time to feed him, settle him, change him etc. Marie is an absolute star, she's like the baby whisperer! We really enjoyed the shoot and got lots of fantastic pictures on a disk which Marie sent a couple of days after the shoot. I'd definitely recommend Ginger Roots to anyone! Well what can I say, my husband and I have had 4 photoshoots up to now with Marie and everyone has been very enjoyable, professional and definitely a comfortable experience.
Our last shoot was for my little boys first birthday- a cake smash shoot. This was so much fun altho Noah wasn't a fan on getting messy Marie was so patient and had lots of ideas to encourage him to dig in!! We also did a tin bath shoot after the cake which Noah was in his element - what a fantastic idea.
I am looking to choose photos from all 4 shoots to make an album but with such amazing pictures how do you pick!!!
We can't thank you enough and will definitely be coming back for more. Thank you so much for your patience, professionalism and just generally being great photographer!

Wow!!! We had an amazing experience taking our newborn daughter for her first ever photo shoot at 11 days old. Marie worked her magic while we relaxed and watched, and she was brilliant. The photos from the maternity shoot and newborn shoot were better than we could have expected, capturing everything we had discussed to the highest of standards in a very small space of time .
