Unique, creative and just what we wanted. Chris has made an entire oak kitchen suite, an elm coffee table, a blanket box, an external door and a window sill for us in recent years. We live in an old house which has lots of character of its own, so our brief is for something that complements rather than competes, but with the benefit of modern fixings and construction. We put forward our initial ideas and Chris expands on these, setting out various options, what is feasible and cost estimates. You soon get to a point where you know you are going to like the finished article because every detail is considered with you. Nothing looks as good as solid hard wood, whether it is a modern or more traditional design - but Chris' creations are bespoke and his costings are very reasonable for such high quality. More...

Chris has been designing and constructing projects for us for many years. These include tables for our lounge, one of which is illustrated above, a sideboard, a dining room table, the fitting out of our study, bathroom cabinets and a computer desk. Chris has done a range of projects for me in my 300 year-old cottage. He started with a full consultation and understanding of what I was looking for, and made sure I was happy at all stages throughout. On every one he has more than exceeded my expectations: Chris has created a beautiful window seat in ash, two bespoke sets of kitchen and book shelving, some shelving in my main bedroom, and a stunning shelf of waney-edge wood inspired by the vision of an African savanna tree. This is the most stunning piece of work that has drawn comments from everyone - it is the stuff of legend. Chris puts his heart and soul into every job, and that is reflected in his creations. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone, and I am SO glad I found him!! Thank you Chris, you have helped transform my house into my home! Chris was excellent at working with us to create a multi-purpose wall to wall, floor to ceiling unit that fitted our needs and requirements. Throughout the build he constantly checked that we were happy with progress. We were very impressed by his workmanship and attention to detail. He obviously takes great pride in what he does and is ever anxious to ensure that the client is happy with the finished product. More...

Chris designed, built and installed fitted wardrobes for us. We are very happy with them. He had good ideas and took full account of our wishes, worked carefully and efficiently, with minimum inconvenience, and produced really good pieces of furniture for a reasonable price.
