Frolic Adventure created a top notch experience in Nepal. I was there for a week and Raj created a customized trip for the PoonHill trek. Our Guide Sarooz and portner Sundar were a fantastic addition to our trip. They shared in lots of laughter making the days walking a bit easier and Sarooz had so much knowledge and history to share. In October of 2017 I and three others went with Raj and Frolic Adventures to do the EBC trek! It is normally a 16-day trek but Raj customized it to fit our time constraints and we were able to do it in 11 days. His demeanor and attitude throughout the entire trek was so positive and supportive and his knowledge of the entire area is vast! He is also a great singer!!! Raj made sure all of our needs were met and his warmth and efforts to do that were second to none. I have recommended two others who went ahead and used Frolic and they were so very pleased with the service. I am returning in October 2020 to do the Annapurna Circuit Trek with 5 other friends, and we already booked with Raj and Frolic with no reservations whatsoever. First of all, I would like to say that we had a great time in nepal, It was our first time in Nepal. And It was a quite experience, a real good time for adventures. We went on the 11 days Gokyo trek which was a once in a lifetime experience for us and we couldn’t have picked a better company than Frolic Adventure. Everything was very well organized from day one, our guide Raj and our 2 porters were astounding in every way. They knew the answers to everything regarding the mountains and were ready to assist us in every way. Bonus points that we had so much fun together that it made the trek so enjoyable! Went for Gokyo Ri trek for 11days, I must say it's a once in a lifetime experience! Our guide Raj is not only super friendly, he's funny and also very knowledgeable with the mountains in the region, he is able to provide every information and answers all questions regarding the mountains during the trek. Everything went very well and smooth and yes, we had lots of fun together. Rajesh who brought us for sightseeing in Kathmandu provided a very enlightening city tour. This is my third trip to Nepal . I first trekked with Rajesh (who’s now a founder of Frolic Adventure) in 2009 when he was an employee on the Annapurna Circuit. I did the EBC with a different company in 2010. Fortunately I was able to make the Langtang and Goaiskund trek with Rajesh and his guide Saroj this time out,2019.(Saroj was getting familiar with this trek thus acted as a porter though he’s a guide).Being a solo traveler it’s important to get a good match with your guide. Being my third time here I know the kind of misery a miss match can create. Rajesh and Saroj ticked all the boxes! They speak good English and have a great attitude. They make it their duty to make sure you are safe,comfortable and most of all having a good time. They go beyond their call of duty to attend to your needs!I am thinking of a different trek in the Everest region in 2021 and will defiantly be trekking with Frolic Adventure.I highly recommend this Team. Mardi Himal Trek 9-15 Mar 2019I have trekked with Rajesh before and so was unsurprised by his seemingly effortless ability to organise a successful trek. He is vastly knowledgeable and experienced,, adaptable and easy companyAs it happens I am 65 years old, visually impaired and asthmatic, no problem for Rajesh to take you on a 6 day trek to 3500m! In the event we were greeted by a combination of rain and ground snow at Low Camp which was a little more than I was up for so Rajesh tweaked the itinerary with the result that we included half a day road walking which might sound boring but is in fact an excellent way to get a taste of everyday Nepalese life!Highly recommended.
