Fresh Space Cleaning Ltd was formed in 2011 with our head office based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

There are a lot of cleaning companies but we wanted to be different. We wanted to be the company that makes our customers smile. Our secret is to make customers happy with a thorough cleaning job at a good price and to employ nice people. We realised we can train nice people to clean but we can’t train nasty people to be nice!

When we take so much trouble to employ the right people and train them to our standards, we want to keep them. And we have. We still have cleaners that were with us from our first year of operation.

We started out doing regular domestic cleaning in East Sussex but soon expanded into spring cleans and end-of-tenancy cleans for estate agents.

In 2012 we were accredited by East Sussex County Council for Support-with-Confidence schemes - This is a Trading Standards scheme that offer the public a selection of services from businesses that have been vetted by the Council.

Businesses accredited by the scheme must have properly trained and police-checked staff with good customer care and a responsive complaints system. The Council checks references and has to be satisfied with the quality and safety of our working practices.

After accreditation, we began offering deep cleans for long-neglected or badly soiled properties and decluttering services for people who have accumulated so many possessions that their health and safety is at risk. We give our staff special training for this sensitive work.

Now, after five years, we count ourselves as experts in this area which has grown to be a significant part of our business. Much of this work is commissioned by local authorities but we provide these services for private clients as well and we cover most of East and West Sussex.
