I used Freedom for my interior remodel on my home and everything they did exceeded my expectations.    I needed to have my water heater replaced, so I immediately called Allen and he was able to his team of highly skilled professionals come to my home immediately.  Not only did they fit me into their schedule on Saturday with very short notice,  the quality of their work is phenomenal.  They did a fantastic job installing a new tankless water heater to make sure I had hot water for the Christmas holiday.  I also needed a crawl space door installed, as another contractor I hired 4 months ago was supposed to complete the project months ago, but never did.  Mr Huang completed the crawl space door the same day as my tankless water heater was installed and it came out great.  I highly recommend Freedom Renovation.  Great Company! I hired this company based on positive reviews, so I thought I should write one and pay it forward.We hired Freedom Renovation to do some remodeling around the house (e. g., painting, fixtures, new toilets, flooring) around the house. We have worked with many contractors in the past, and this was the best experience we've ever had. Normally with contractors, the estimate visit goes well, then things go downhill quickly from there. With Freedom, things only got better the deeper we got into the job. The estimator and design coordinator were both great (and the job was fairly priced), but the real surprise here was the crew. Freedom has managed to find guys that are fantastic at what they do, and who are very conscientious. Not only was this the best quality of work we've ever seen, but the guys went above and beyond in how respectful they were of our home. They did thorough prep work and clean up everyday, they worked their tails off the whole time they were here, and they were just all around good guys. I'm not sure how many crews they have running, but if you are lucky enough to get the guys we had, you will not be disappointed. After doing research online, we contacted Freedom to obtain a quote to redo our guest bathroom. They were one of 4 contractors we contacted. Then, Alex showed up on time and provided a professional suggestion and clear estimate. He walked us through the work that would need to be done and answered all my question we had. We were very comfortable with the first impression he gave. After we sign the contract, they began work at the time stated, and completed it within his deadline. Throughout the time his crew was working in our home, they were always on time and organized.  When we ran into some technical issues, Alex and his team promptly addressed them. Allen and his team were great! We needed some drywall and wall wirrors removed, and they completed it within a day. The finished product looked just as good as the existing walls. Allen was very accommodating and easy to work with. He personally came down to our place to inspect, and his guys did a perfect job. I made several requests and he was prompt with answering any questions I had. He even answered general questions I had about other renovations that we are planning on doing. This summer my husband and I decided to embark on a kitchen and 2.5 bathroom remodel. A daunting task made even more overwhelming by the fact that I had zero idea what I was doing and have a serious case of OCD.  Freedom Renovation was a godsend. The price was right and they were so patient and thorough about everything. I'm big on closed loop communication and these guys were the communicate professionals. From Allen, the general manager, to Alex, the project manager and Mr. Wang our main flooring expert - we were constantly talking to one another. I even had access to Jimmy, the company president when it was necessary. I might add that on a day when they were short handed and needed someone to come collect construction debris, Jimmy showed up with his shirt sleeves rolled up and helped his crew schlep stuff to the dump truck. They did great work and referred me to wonderful tile and stone vendors. The rare times that we hit a snag (what renovation doesn't), they worked so fast to rectify the issues. I also gave them a very strict deadline, and when it looked like we were cutting it close, they sent in crews to work on Saturday and Sunday. The ended up finishing 2 days in advance. Finally, they dropped off a thank you gift for us a few weeks after we closed for "being so great to work with". I started doing this major renovation project for the town house I bought and about to call it home for the next couple years. So it was an understatement to say that I was picky. However, Freedom renovation really listened to what I want, and provided me the after effect that is everything I wanted if not more. They even threw in a couple features that didn't occur to me, but they thought might be handy, like a cutting board slot and a garbage pull out tray.We made a few modifications here and there, and along the process, my vision of the house finally became clear, and I know I can trust these guys to bring it to reality. The whole process of working with them cannot be easier for me, and they are truly willing to work with me in terms of material selection and price negotiation. The workers managed to finish a couple days ahead, even the initial project time is already tight. I really appreciated that they inspected every tiny detail, and left the place dirt free. It really showed that much they took pride in their work, and how they really cared the customers, rather than just finish the job and collect the pay check. Absolutely a pleasure working with these guys!Three words to describe this company - courteous, knowledgeable and professional. These guys are detail oriented and patient. They really take the time to learn your wants and desires as wells as likes and dislikes.Had them do a kitchen installation and it came out beautiful. From the beginning when they would check on my progress routinely, waiting for my drawing to be done. I was almost feeling bad because I just couldn't finalize the lay out, not to mention cabinet style or material selection. Essentially I just got tired of going back and forth with the interior design company, and decided to have freedom come out and see what their suggestion is. Allen and Alex showed up at my house, and took measurements and really listened to what my vision for the place is. They suggested me to take the peninsular out, have a L shaped layout for the cabinets and have an island in the middle as a counter/bar mixture. At first I didn't feel too strongly about the plan. Comparing with the fancy after-reno glam I get from the design company, the rendering I got from freedom was almost too simple. However, after visiting their showroom, and having them display the picture on a bigger screen, I started to like the idea. I was a union superintendent/ project manager for 30 years on the East Coast that involved all phases of constructions. And when I started looking for a contractor that does flooring, kitchen, and bathroom remodel, I chose 'Freedom Renovation'. "Wow" what a great choice that I made. Their prices was spot on and their work was some of the best I have ever seen. The management along with the workers were all on the same page. They were professional, intelligent, and very corteous to my wants and needs. They really enjoyed their work and were very efficient without going too fast, which we all know that a lot of companies hurry up and mess up the final product. Their work was precise which made a great looking finished without a lot of touch up. Their punch list was zero. We went with Alex and his crew for our kitchen remodel. It was not the biggest job, but they handled all with the same professional demeanor of a big time job. They worked with us with our budget and also were very honest about quotes. In fact they adjusted the quote once the discovered they did not need to charge us for rerouting waterlines. Also they came out multiple times to make sure our microwave was properly mounted into the cabinets. Great company. I just signed off my completion paper last week, and I can' t expresss how grateful I am of Freedom renovation. The company is passionate, efficient, caring and understanding. And most importantly, their job quality is amazing. I am a very detail oriented person, and can be particularly difficult to deal with when it comes to material choice and actual finish look. I am glad that I went with freedom, though I was connected to another three companies. I was quickly reached by freedom, and when I expressed how I want it done asap, they came to my place the very same day. Their project managers, Alex and Allen clearly knew what they were doing, and offered me various plans and methods I should go for, to achieve my desired look. They communicated with the workers and regularly updated me the on-going progress. Even when I was unhappy about the finishing effect, they did not hesitate to tear down what they've already built, so they can redo it with new materials. It was me being hideous, but I am happy that they coped with it. Some company may only appear nice at first glance to lure customer in, but Freedom is definitely not one of them. They showed their enthusiasm from calling in to schedule the estimate to me signing final check. And they are still doing follow-up calls the other day. I just had my kitchen got renovated by Freedom Renovation and I'm very happy with my experience. Their team was very customer focused and helped me from everything from picking out materials which I selected with Anna in their showroom, to working with the building to taking care of everything else in my apartment while the demo was going on. My project manager, Alex, was easy to get in touch with and arranged updates with me at least weekly, but usually daily. Allen and his staff became our friends for 2 months, while they fixed up the place where me and my boyfriend call home now. We were glad that San Diego is the place to settle down, and Freedom Renovation helped to make the process so much smoother. I'll start by saying their efficiency was definitely top notch. From contacting us through the entire project, they were willing to work with us, and they clearly cared about our need more than rushing through the project. I'm grateful how they are willing to work extra hours and weekends to just meet our urgent completion date requirement, yet they still kept us updated and respected our preference. In time spam of 6-7 weeks, we remodeled the entire kitchen and bathroom, installed new flooring, had a few walls torn down. We had different experts coming in for electricals, plumbing and wire rerouting, and best part, we only dealt with one company though out. I'm impressed by their quality work, attention to detail, and dedication to help clients. I'm glad to have found this company, and wouldn't hesitate to call next time when I need similar service. We have found Freedom Renovation to be a reliable and honest company that delivers work as agreed upon a contract, super professional !
Work was completed in the urgency and timely manner needed. Our condo had been plastered, dry walled, and painted beautifully.
Alex is a friendly person and simply a good guy to be around and do business with. Allen knows everything from structure to tile selection, with two of them, we don't have to communicate with all the workers about our request, as they are doing so for us.

From the first phone call to the final inspection this company gets 10 stars. The level of customer service is off the chart, I immediately knew from initial contact they would be awesome. This company really cares about your satisfaction. We just did a kitchen remodel and I have to say never have we had such a positive experience with a home remodel project. We were referred by a friend from work who was so happy with them on a kitchen remodel they hired them again for a bathroom remodel. That, along with all of the 5 star reviews on yelp, we were sold... So after meeting with them at their showroom, we were so impressed with their work, professional demeanor and no pressure environment, we hired them on the spot. Alex came out for the free estimate and I did not need to go to any other companies as he and his company Freedom Renovation came across as the best fit for our restoration project. Communication was clear and crisp, requests were quickly answered, and the right people were always available and responsive. I worked with an amazing project manager who was cooperative and timely and the job was done quick and within budget. The receptionist Destiny was a delight to contact. Our tile guy was a super smart and honest contractor who knew and could answer any questions and concerns my husband and I had, and honestly was a pleasure to work with. I was planning a kitchen remodel, updating some cabinets, and also replacing my carpet with hardwood/engineer wood floor. I was connected to Freedom renovation via home advisor, and wow did they respond fast . I was able to schedule the estimate appointment within hours, and Allen and Alex came over to do all the measurements. They were really understanding and thorough about my concerns. They also offered to work with my schedule which is appreciated.   For my cabinets, I wanted a lazy susan as well as a built in trash can. All their cabinets come with the easy close feature which is nice. I wish I would have asked about the kick opening for my base cabinets, but by the time I remembered, the project was already mostly done, and the wait time would be too long for that specific change order. For my flooring, I went to their showroom, and decided to go with engineered wood. It looks nice, feels good, apparently lasts a long time, and is easy on the wallet. So I was finally able to replace the bacteria hoarding carpet. With the new flooring, my living room now has a more open and welcoming feel. Best part from freedom renovation is that I don't need to be micro-monitoring everything, Alex kept a close eye on the project progress, and kept me informed about every detail that was being done. They were constantly communicating, it's like I was there the whole time, without being actually present. There were a few surprises, which is expected from big projects like this. But in their ways of problem solving and cooperating, I could really tell that they cared about client, and I am glad to have worked with them.  Though it's not going to be anytime soon, but I know who to go for my next home renovation project for sure. Freedom Renovation did one heck of a job! My family loves the new kitchen, and it’s all thanks to Allen and Alex and their team! I am so glad I found their website, I had planned on doing something completely different with the kitchen, but after a consultation with Allen and Alex, they made me aware of the flaws in materials and such, so we went with a whole new idea and it is beautiful! They helped us pick out non-stain material, we have a big family with a bunch of kids and messes are a commonality in our home, so I will be forever grateful to this company!!! Might even ask them to do my floors now…The whole thing was really cost-efficient, (my husband and I did our research for months prior) and the company was amazing, and super friendly the entire time. My husband and I recently renovated our home in La Jolla, and I must say it is a dream come true. We found Freedom Renovation through Yelp and after looking through their reviews, we decided to call. We spoke with Alex, our soon to be project manager, and he invited us to come see their showroom in Mira Mesa, which was nice because we were able to feel the materials and compare them right then and there. They have so many options, though, and even though it took us some time to choose materials, Alex and his associate Allen walked us through the entire process, explaining which materials are more durable in this environment and so on, and they weren’t pushy like the other companies we had looked into. Finally, we set up a time for an estimate and it didn’t take a full 24 hours to get back to us on it! The estimate they sent us was reasonable (and much better than the other quotes we had received,) and their customer service was amazing, so we decided to go with them. They sent one of their crews out to work with us, inviting us to see every step along the way to make sure everything came out just as we had wanted it to. They did everything themselves, the demolition process, reframing, all of the electrical and plumbing work, and finally the installation. It was not an easy job. We had our kitchen, all three bathrooms (one half bath,) and our fireplace done in time for the in laws visit! Gorgeous tile work, countertops and backsplashes, even the vinyl wood flooring is impeccable. Freedom Renovation helped my family complete our dream house, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking into a company that cares about the work they do and the people they assist. 5 stars, all the way!!! This 5 star review for Freedom Renovation is well deserved and long overdue. In total we did a full gut job, including wall demo with beam install, relocation of plumbing and gas range exhaust for our new kitchen, gutted out a full bathroom and half bath, and a major refresh of a second full bath, with plumbing moved for every bathroom. And most recently installed a Nema 14-50 outlet for our new EV car. The remodel was not a small task at all.Alex, The Project Manager at FR was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the start, Alex was always very responsive via text (who doesn't love a texter right?), and even phone calls. The pricing quoted was very fair (Dare I say best in town?), and the actual total for each stage of our remodel was always within reasonable range of the quotes, even with some unexpected items popping up!The office team worked with us on designing our brand new kitchen with 3d Rendering, and made our vision our reality. We already had a somewhat clear idea of what we wanted, but the team sat with us through 2-3 revisions, patiently making the changes that we requested. I even saw some other couples that literally had no idea what they wanted, and even while making complete changes to the drawing, the team still was very patient and the same high quality of service remained. Although I don't recommend going in there with no idea what you want, be assured that you will have the kind positive support needed for making big changes to your kitchen.The construction crew was very polite, and boy do they move fast! A typical work schedule can be from Monday-Saturday. They are very respectful and will ask if they are able to use your restroom for the duration of the construction. There are different crews each with their own specialty, ranging from demo, electrical, casework, plumbing etc, so be prepared to answer this question several times during your remodel. The crew works fast and efficiently, so you can literally see so much progress after each day's work is completed. Although remodel zones are typically dusty and messy, the crew does a great job of sweeping, and vacuuming and tidying up work areas every evening to ensure a clean safe working environment.FR also sells vanities, flooring, back splash and basically everything you need for your remodel. They never pressure you to buy their products, and they are more than happy to pick up any supplies you decide to purchase elsewhere that needs install locally.  We ordered our kitchen cabinets and all vanities from FR, the quality is amazing. All the cabinets, drawers, and vanity are sturdy and have soft close! Yup, no more cabinet and drawer slamming! They also have a showroom that you can check out before you jump in. The best part? If you work Monday- Friday, they are open on Saturdays! I suggest making an appointment if you want to get a quote, or work on drawings.I highly recommend Freedom Renovation to anyone looking to remodel, any project big or small. Freedom renovation built a new bathroom for us and remodeled our kitchen.  Alex, our project manager, made the entire experience great.  Alex is very honest, has great energy, and always makes an effort to understand his customers' needs.  I appreciated that he made himself available at all times, and communicated very clearly the status of the project each step of the way.  He held his crew to a very high standard and was very thorough in every single task.  He made sure that all of the work was done to our liking, as his motto is that the customer should always be satisfied.  Alex is one service-oriented professional.As is inevitable in many home renovation projects, some unforeseen issues did come up.  Each time, Alex laid out for us all of the options in a very clear manner.  He patiently explained the pros and cons of each, including the reason behind the price differential for each potential solution.  He approached every task with absolute transparency and this truly went such a long way in allowing us to feel completely trustful of him and his crew.We are super happy with the way our new kitchen and bathroom turned out.  I have already recommended Freedom renovation to friends of ours, and we will use them again for future home projects.   Awesome customer service, attention to detail, and great craftsmanship.  Five stars all the way! Thanks, Freedom. I had to write this review for this fabulous team out here in San Diego. My house hasn't done any bathroom update for almost 10 years. So I went online and started to search for what company is the best out there. I had three companies come out to my house to do the estimate on the bathroom, and Freedom was one of them. After meeting the three estimate teams from the companies, Freedom had given me the most detail during the estimate on what to expect, how everything will look, what material to use, what options I have (shower or replace my old bath tub), etc. The major difference between Freedom and other two companies that I had scheduled is that Freedom has a showroom, so I went on in and scheduled a time with Freedom to visit their showroom at Mira Mar Road. Freedom has a very elegant and modern showroom, they have so many variety of kitchen samples, flooring sample, shower display, show tub display, and so on. It made me want to remodel the whole house just by the look of what they have in the showroom. I went over the detail with what I would want to be done on my bathroom. I decided to have shower instead of bath tub, replace toilet and vanity. Alex gave me idea of the frameless glass shower enclosure and the insert soap tray, which I really liked those suggestions. Alex and me nailed down the big pic of the materials. After a couple days, I received the estimate from Freedom and others. Freedom's estimate was right in middle of all the estimates I had gotten. I went over all the estimates with my family members for couple days. Freedom is the only company that called us back to follow up with us and see if we have any questions or concern on the estimate, which I thought was really professional and gave a personal touch to me. So I went thru everything with Alex on the estimate and all the questions I had. Finally, we decided to go with Freedom because they were very detailed and proffesional. After I signed contract with Freedom, I started to order the material I picked and started to plan the schedule with the Freedom construction team. Everything went so smooth, they had the team do the demolition, waterproof the shower base, patch up all the walls, and getting everything ready for installation of new materials. I was always busy at work, and Alex keep me update with pictures of the finishing work on each step. One unexpected problem came up from the tile I purchased. Alex addressed that we have to get more tile for the shower wall because the tile we got was so easy to chip off when it was cut. So we had a delay of two days on the jobs. The whole job took only 13 days. It was unbelievable, and all the detail work was top-notch when they finished. I could not find any flaw on the work they did. I had to give this review on this company- Freedom Renovation. Once I save some more money up, I will have my kitchen and flooring done with Freedom in couple of months. Reach out to Freedom to get estimate on the kitchen and flooring in the beginning. Alex and Allen came out to my house and make a measure of what my house need to be done. they answered all the questions I have on the spot, suggested me what I should pay attention in terms of picking materials, and gave me detail run down of how their company procedure is on the project. I received their estimate which is very detail and professional after two days they visited my house. I went thru every items on the estimate with my husband, and clarify couple questions about the estimate with Freedom. They have responded directly on the questions and were not trying to hind anything from us. After couples, my husband and me have compared couple companies and their profile. We decided to go with Freedom. After we have signed the contract, we knew we didn't make a wrong decision on this one. Freedom is very organized and on-time company. They have scheduled everything of how every section will be done, notified us not to step or touch the area they just finished and make sure every items we should know about the work they performed. After three weeks of remodeling, we did not worry a thing and the construction was so smooth in terms of work and time. Before Freedom close the project, we did a final walk thru of the job, the work quality is just fabulous and well-finished. Where do I even start with Freedom Renovation. They have such a large showroom with many different cabinet styles and countertops displaying their quality work. Their showroom looks like something out of a magazine. Upon first impression I could not believe that everything that was done in the showroom was done by their exceptional staff. After a few weeks of discussing my planned kitchen remodel with the project manager Allen, my wife and I decided to hire Freedom Renovation. When we had signed we were told that the remodel would take about a month and a half, much to our surprise they were done in just a little over three weeks. I know I made the right choice in choosing freedom because my new kitchen looks better than anything I could've ever imagined. All of the staff was nice, friendly, courteous and excelled in customer service. I had heard some horror stories from my friends about other contractors and honestly was scared to have my kitchen remodeled. Throughout the entire remodel they kept me informed and up-to-date as to the entire progress of my kitchen. I always felt that Freedom Renovation had my best interest at heart.
