The communication from Richard was perfect throughout. He and Nigel turned up exactly on time. They set-up quietly and efficiently and starters were cooked when they said they would be. Richard and his team did a BBQ for my birthday party at Albury Vineyard last night, and it was a huge success. They are a very professional team and provide all the advice and essentials for a great party. But most importantly their food is outstanding. The BBQ was delicious, perfectly timed and cooked to perfection, and the salads were freshly prepared, beautifully presented and totally yummy. My guests are all still raving about it. Free Range Cooks catered my 50th birthday dinner this weekend and did an absolutely fabulous job. Everything looked and tasted amazing from the scrummy canapés through to the overflowing cheese board. They even remained unfazed by the Aga. The kitchen was left lovely and clean a real plus the following morning. The only hard part was choosing which of their lovely menu options to go with. Richard and Nigel catered our wedding yesterday and were absolutely fantastic in every way! We had canapés- which were beautifully presented and delicious.
These were followed up by paella, which was repeatedly described as the best ever tasted! Then fabulous jam jar desserts and a hog roast in the evening!
Richard was attentive in every way and made the whole thing completely stress free! It was amazing value as well, particularly when the food was such high quality.
We cannot recommend this guys highly enough and will definitely be using them again in the future.

After being let down by a number of catering companies for our wedding, I received a number of recommendations to contact Free Range Cooks. Richard listened to exactly what we wanted, he is extremely knowledgeable about food, versatile, enthusiastic, very creative and has such a laid back but professional approach to his business. He is also very reasonably priced. Nothing is too much bother for him and he enjoys a new challenge. He came round to basically cook us dinner and we were blown away by the food! We thought our brief of a vegan/vege/pescatarian BBQ was quite complex but he delivered what we wanted and more. On the day he handled everything brilliantly, his staff were very polite, efficient and friendly. We had so many lovely comments about the food, everyone really enjoyed it and lots of people wanted Richard’s card! Whether you’re having a small dinner party, a family gathering, or a large event such as a wedding I would whole heartedly recommend Free Range Cooks, you will not be disappointed!
