Want to play a couple rounds where you can soak in the experience, enjoy the amazing scenery, and not worry about snapping perfect shots? We played Troon early in our trip where we had awesome caddies, an on again off again rain, and I spent a lot of time keeping my iPhone dry while snapping shots and vid . . . wanted to capture the cool views and joy of playing with my son and friends. And we got some decent shots along the way. Then we met up with David on the first tee at Kingsbarns Golf Club https://www.kingsbarns.com/ where after brief introductions, we teed it up and he started shooting. What a difference when you can focus on the game, interacting with your caddie and friends, and know David is discreetly capturing the shots, the views, and adding to the banter. What a great guy to hang with - easy going, awesome sense of humor and . . . Oh yeah, a great photographer with an eye for framing the moments. So when we met the following day to walk the Old Course together, it was so cool how he moved ahead, captured the round from a discrete distance, and worked back into the group at the tee. We have many great shots including the #1 tee at Carnoustie with the starter and caddies - one of my favorites. Seriously consider the value in having someone of David’s caliber join your group for a couple rounds. You will not be disappointed in the quality of David’s work and the peace of mind in walking the great courses, and enjoying the moment, without concern about shooting pics along the way. David is not only a talented photographer but also a great hang with a killer sense of humor. Lurking unobtrusively in the weeds, he caught some great candid moments with his long range lens.
