What makes a great website?

It is vital that a website is easy to navigate, but most importantly content. We can design a great looking website, but without your content it's going to look pretty empty.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

Whatever your project is, whether it's anew website or CCTV system, if you are shopping around fro quotes, try to have written, defined specification of what you want to achieve. This way you have a checklist to work against, but more importantly you have something to make sure all the quotes you obtain solve the same problems and include the same or similar solutions, making it easier for you to decide more effectively who to choose as your provider.

What do you love most about your job?

Every day is different. working in a technology based industry, there is always more to learn and new things to try to be able to offer more to our clients. But most of all is when we have completed a project for someone and achieved the goal, the look of satisfaction on a clients face makes it all worth it.
Ok, when they pay the invoice that also makes it worth it.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I had worked for other organisations outsourcing some of the services we provide and saw how many providers didn't offer the full range of services, often when a solution/system required more than one service provider to maintain it, when something went wrong, it was all too easy to blame the other party leaving the client stuck in the middle. I wanted to be able to offer a full range of services to avoid that and have been doing so for over 17 years.

Other than our amazing sense of humour and good looks, most importantly, we believe in old fashioned service. We feel strongly about being honest and providing a service that our clients will rave about. The majority of our new work comes from referral because our current clients are happy with us.
