Feedback following a trip organised by Exsus to Vietnam in May 2017:

Our trip to Vietnam was a perfect balance between a charming historical town (Hoi An), a beach escape (Nha Trang) and a developing but dynamic city break (Saigon). Whilst Hoi An is steeped in colonial history and its lantern-lined streets are full of charm, Nha Trang’s beaches must be among the best in Asia and are not far from stunning Buddhist pagodas. Saigon, meanwhile, has a real buzz and with its French-style boutiques and trendy coffee houses, is incredibly cosmopolitan.

Our welcoming guides met us on arrival and provided insightful overviews of the history and highlights of each area. They were also more than helpful to tailor our tours to accommodate particular things/places we wanted to visit. Each of our hotels (Maison Vy in Hoi An, Mia Resort in Nha Trang, and Fusion Suites in Saigon) were well chosen, particularly as we both like boutique-style hotels. The food and drink was probably the icing on the cake of the trip – everything from juices on the street and the wonderful summer rolls in the markets, to vegetarian eateries and the exotic fruits.
