About

I work with my clients to come up with a fitness programme that suits their needs. My philosophy is that if the client enjoys the programme, then they are more likely to stick with it and achieve their goals. I can offer a gym based programme, circuit training, suspension training, home programme, functional training and kettle bell training.

Fantastic MIAS course, very well run. one of the most fun courses I have ever done. Steve was a great coach and helped not just myself but the rest of the group achieve a level 2 instructor qualification. Looking forward to getting my level 3 and 4. Would recommend Steve to anyone who wants to become a MTB instructor. More...

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Steve for my personal training. He takes time to get to know you and what you are capable of and then starts to push you out of your comfort zone. The aspect that I thoroughly like is he doesn't recommend any fad diets or crash routines he focuses on overall wellbeing and this is where you see all his training and experience come into play. He is very much approachable from start to finish and more than happy to assist you with your diet plan, lifestyle advice etc alongside keeping a log of your daily progress, which I found was very encouraging. He genuinely wants to help people achieve their personal goals. More...

Personal Trainers

I started training with steve 6 weeks ago. So far I have really enjoyed his positive encouragement and patience that has pushed me beyond what I thought I could achieve. Steve is very knowledgeable about using proper techniques and challenges me every session whilst still respecting my physical limits. Hes provided me very good advice on nutrition and has kept me focused and on task when I dont hit certain targets . :) Looking forward to seeing more results! More...

It was really a good course for every individual. Personally I enjoyed and learned so many things with ease. The best thing about course was the Instructor @steve He has very good knowledge and experience of the subject. No doubt on his teaching technique, I strongly recommend Evolved Cycling and and fitness for the course. I am looking forward to go next L3 with him again. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ More...

Q&As

I have a client centred philosophy. At the start of our relationship, we will meet and discuss the client's goals and how they would like to achieve them. Then through monitoring, over the course of the programme, we can confirm if the programme is working. If not, we will identify why not and make adjustments. At the heart of it, is client enjoyment. If you don't enjoy something, you are not going to stick at it. So by making the programme, different, challenging and yet enjoyable, the client will achieve their fitness goals.

Unfortunately, it is no secret, it is hard work and will take time. And it's about lifestyle changes. I will manage this change programme and introduce the right amount of activities at the right time to ensure that the client reaches their full potential.

I love to see clients who have achieved their goals. Their sense of satisfaction, their improvements in self-esteem and the amount of positive energy they exude is the greatest reward for me.

After retiring from my previous job, I wanted a job that was rewarding and one that gives me a sense of great satisfaction. Helping people achieve their goals, become fitter and healthier, and actually live longer is the greatest inspiration.

I will do everything in my power to help you succeed in whatever your goals may be. I will not tell you what to do, but we will work together to agree what are realistic, achievable goals, and we will come up with a pathway for you to achieve them.

My clients will pay for the results they want to achieve. Have a look at my website www.evolvedcycling.co.uk/pricing to see what that means in practice.
