What makes a great website?
Above all else, a great website has to capture the attention of the visitor! This means using a proportionate use of space, colour and priority content. When nothing gets lost and everything has it's place on a page, that's when a website truly shines.
It is also crucial that a website carries an unmistakable identity that is truly reflective of you and your business and is something you can truly be proud of.

What is the goal that you are trying to achieve?
Who is your target audience?
What content do you want on the website and why?
Do you have a defined brand?
Describe your creative process.
- Absorb the information given by the client
- Get into the creative zone by putting headphones on with loud music
- Become one with the project by putting myself in the target audience's shoes and research the competitors
- Start building a mock-up
- Consult with the client
- Repeat
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
- I need to know a client's brand image - if they have no brand, we can start there!
- The package they chose
- The content they want on the page (preferably word by word)
What do you love most about your job?
Bringing visions to life. Web development is a lot like graphic design. You're painting the ideas of people who can't do it for themselves. When a business owner looks with pride at their website and brand image that encapsulates their personality and purpose, it makes us feel warm and fuzzy on the inside.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been planning to start my own business since about 2010. I have ideas popping into my head constantly and more often than not they remain at that stage. Being a business gives you the opportunity to connect with other businesses that makes it much easier to bring ideas to life. Web and Graphic design lets me do something I love and make a living out of it.
