What makes a great website?
Simple layout with lots of space and not too much text. The website should also be easy to use by even the most inexperienced potential client.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Is there a website already in existence that you like?
What is your primary business?
Do you have photos and text for inclusion or is that something you need to add?
Do you have a timescale in mind?
What do you love most about your job?
When the client is delighted with the finished website.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want to focus on individuals, tradesmen and small associations/societies. Large website design companies are geared towards big projects and can be intimidating and off-putting to those in my target market. There are opportunities for small businesses, tradesmen etc to use template websites but the ongoing costs can be very high and the finished website does not show the client's business in the best light with layouts that can be very restrictive. My aim in being self employed was to give everyone the opportunity to have a bespoke website that will promote their cause in the best way and at an affordable cost.
Why should our clients choose you?
If bark clients want to have a bespoke website but feel intimidated or overwhelmed by the big web design companies, they can be assured of a great personal service at realistic prices with ellewebdesign.
