I have a 9 month old Giant Schnauzer who was totally out of control but generally doing puppy stuff. Â A friend recommended Courtney and staff at first we were really reluctant to leave our boy for 3 weeks but our friend had used them for a few of their dogs so I took a chance. Boy am I glad I did. Â Courtney met with us and could see my apprehension but was very patient and not pushy. Â We returned in 3 weeks to pick him up and we could see a drastic change in his behavior. After he settled in at home he has been a pleasure to be around and has picked up all the commands Courtney said he would. Â I literally enjoy taking him outside for training sessions and our trips to Home Depot have been great! He still does puppy stuff but his behavior is like night and day. Â They set a foundation that I could not have done. Now we truly have a family member that we can take almost anywhere we go!I cannot express how happy I am with Courtney and her staff and look forward to our next phase of training. They were very concerned about my experience and show to me that they really wanted to fix the concerns. They apologize for my concern and reached out to me to fix it.. I got a puppy to train as a therapy dog to be a part of my private psychotherapy practice. I adopted an 8 week old, high energy, strong-willed Rottweiler-labradoodle mix last year. After the first two months, I admitted that I was overwhelmed and needed help. I reached out and got on Elite Dogs' waiting list for their 3-week board and train program. It was another month or two before a slot opened up for my puppy. I'm thrilled with the results! He is a completely different dog. He's happier! He's less anxious. He has an attention span!Courtney has intense energy and she speaks super fast. She knows each dog that walks through the door. She cares about the program. I recommend this program to other dog owners. It was worth every penny. And now that my puppy is a year old, we are getting ready to take the therapy dog certification exam and get him registered. I've taken my high-energy pup twice here now and he seems to love it. That's good enough for me. The staff is friendly and greets him warmly. This seems more a "traditional" kennel than a doggie daycare, which was just what we wanted. Prices are so reasonable. Recommended More...

We just used Elite Dog's boarding services for 11 days while we were overseas. The staff was helpful and friendly, the price was great, and the dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up - one of our dogs has a bit of separation anxiety when he's away from us and usually won't eat much, but he was happy enough here to eat every meal!

I would give Elite 10 stars if I could. They have been caring for my dogs for over 10 years now and this review is long overdue. Courtney is a gem, she is extremely gifted with animals and her customer service is the best in the business. My dogs love the place and they wish I went on vacation more often. We have also used their training services, which are excellent. I do not worry about my dogs when they are at Elite. They are popular so book early! We just went for a training refresher, not for Poly but for ourselves. And Courtney patiently reminded us of what we had forgotten. Â The behavior we went there to remedy literally fell by the wayside when we were shown what to do. Courtney has been working with Poly during all his boardings these past 5 years. She truly cares about the dogs and gains their respect without all the crazy behavior we see in other trainers. We love Elite Dogs! My dog did their 3 week board and train program last year and it made such a difference for us. My dog is leash reactive, smart, and dominant and Courtney really helped us understand how to successfully work with her and give her rules/boundaries. My dog is much happier and relaxed now knowing the rules and having structure. Now she can do a 30 minute sit/stay, walk past dogs without lunging and barking, and follow all her commands without repeating the command. I wish I took her here earlier!We now use Elite Dogs for our boarding needs and they're very accommodating, have great prices, and my dog already knows their rules. I like how you can also add pool time or refresher training while your dog is boarded with them.I always know Brooklyn is in good hands when she's with the Elite Dogs Crew because they know what they're doing and have TONS of experience with all kinds of dogs. Courtney is excellent. I have experience in training K-9's; however I am humble enough to have mine fine tuned. My dogs 135 lb Rottweiler, 86 lbs GSD, and 68 lbs Belgium Malinois dogs that all had different behavioral issues. She was able to get them straight within 3 weeks board and training. Just picked up two happy dogs after 5 days in boarding!!! They seem to have had a great time, and they are clean! I love the option that the staff will bathe them so they come home clean and ready for cuddles!

I inherited my puppy-brother after my mom passed and thought I'd never be able to leave him with anyone. He has abandonment issues, and doesn't do well around strangers & other animals. At a friend's recommendation I brought him here when I had to go out of town for a few days. They were so patient and great with him, I was astonished and grateful. We love this place and will never take our dogs anywhere else for grooming or training. We had just about given up and figured we were stuck with aggressive and egocentric pets. After boarding school we picked up two completely different dogs both of which have lived up to our highest expectations. We now have a home with mutual respect and one where we trust our animals to behave. We came to find out that WE needed more work than our pups and it was challenging but we couldn't be happier with the results. This program brought out the best of Kadence and Breacher and we couldn't be more thrilled. If you're looking for results this is the place! My dog German Shepard Rocket just completed the 3 week board & train...we've only been home for 2 hours and the difference is nite and day. My 5 & 7 year old are actually able to be themselves in the house with out being trampled. Of course it's still a work in progress. Hell, now we need training. My dogs have stayed here many times, and it’s always been a great experience. Yesterday during their most recent visit, I got a call that one of my dogs had hurt her paw (which was in NO way their fault).
The lady I spoke to (I believe her name was Stephanie but I could be wrong) was genuinely concerned about my dog. She called me right away to tell me what happened and what their plan was. They were ready to take her to the vet asap, but luckily didn’t have to because she took the time to resolve the issue. Today when I picked my dogs up, she spent time speaking to me about the situation, told me some great tips that can help my dog’s paw, and made sure to give my pup some love before we left. I called to update after a vet visit, and once again she sounded like she actually cared about my dog which was a good feeling.
Long story short, this whole experience made me like this place even more, and I will continue to suggest them to others looking for boarding.

Our dog LOVES Elite! He is always excited to get there, happy and tired when we pick him up. Also, he completed his doggie training at Elite and when we take Bud in public we ALWAYS get compliments on how well behaved he is. Bud loves the trips to the ""beach""! I've used this kennel for my dog 3 times for a total of more than 4 months and I cannot imagine a better kennel. Each time my Fox Terrier seems in better shape and happier than when I left him. My dog hates his groomer and hates his Vet but he seems to love his kennel. I call it his doggie camp. They have a drop off service in Albany which I use and the other dogs if seen coming back from this kennel seem also to almost hate to leave the kennel peoples care. More...

We never left our pup in a kennel - so we were very picky. After inspecting numerous kennels Elite Kennels came out on top. It is very well maintained (a former veternary hospital) and the staff members were professional and caring. I had to shop around before I finally chose to leave my dog at Elite. They are really great at taking care of your dog. They have very clean kennels and they play with your dog several times a day while in their care. They also have a little swimming pool where your dog can play in while there. Like the other reviewer, I also shopped around. This place has a 5x5 indoor kennell attached to a 5X25 kennell that your dog can go in and out of. The long kennell is outdoors (chain fence) and the small one is indoors (cooled and heated). They are truly wonderful with the dogs - play with them all the time. The owners joked that my dog played the ENTIRE time she was there - she left happy and goes back happy every time. :) They even have play days that you can take your dog to for the day for $25. I shopped around at numerous kennels before dropping off my dog! They are simply the best and took great care of my dog. The care is great for the overall value and most important the kennels are clean!
