I work long hours most days of the week and don't really have time for thorough cleaning, so after all these years, my house needed a deep clean.
I contacted Josephine on Bark based on her excellent reviews. We agreed a time and a date, and she turned up on time. I was apprehensive at first, because I've hired cleaners in the past who let me down. Josephine didn't disappoint; just as the reviews said, she took her time, did a deep clean and didn't miss a spot! I am estactic, my house looks like new, just like when I got it newly built.
I will strongly recommend Josephine, she's very professional and leaves your home spotless!

Elgon have been great cleaners. I got them to do a deep clean of the house which took two cleaners 6 hours. The house has never been cleaner. They are now coming once a week and upkeeping the house. Highly disappointed. Was going to arrive at 9am thdn changed to 1pm and finally arrived at 3pm. Took over two times longer than any other cleaner has taken in the past. Damage occurred to two items whilst cleaning my lounge with no offer to put it right in anyway. Lots of basic tasks left not done or finished. Now ignoring my message to ask what is now happening. I wasn’t rude to her because I felt embarrassed for her as it was a comedy of errors. No sign of her insurance that she claims to have. I am deeply shocked by the review you’ve posted and would like to clear my side of the events so we can start on a fresh note. ● I always ensure to set the work timings based on my customers' preferences and ease, and if any changes in timing occur, I discuss them with the customers first. Similarly, I apologised and stated that I wouldn’t be available at the agreed time and rescheduled, to which you agreed and said it was completely okay. If you weren’t okay with the time and had let me know, I would have rescheduled to a time more suitable for you. ● Although we did discuss my working hours, due to the condition of the house, cat hair buildup on carpets, and mould in the kitchen, I had to be extremely thorough, hence the increased time it took to clean the house. And since you complained about previous cleaners and how they didn’t do a proper job, I took extra care to make sure the job was done right. Of course, if you want to do something the right way, it’s going to take time. Rushing the job would have meant cutting corners, which is not how I work. ● You mentioned that you would never give me another chance again, but you called me back to do another job, which indicates that you did like the work I did for you. ● I also have my insurance on me and would have gladly provided it if asked. I do apologise if there’s been any miscommunication or misunderstanding and I hope this reply to your review satisfies the points you made. As my many reviews clearly state, I always and will continue to provide detailed, thorough, and high-standard work for my clients.
