Had a leaking roof at one of our student properties in Swansea. DTA was quick to respond to my enquiry and the drone inspection was arranged within a few days. The person handling my job was very good at explaining what would happen, how they would inform neighbours and the police etc. , and how I'd be able to see what I needed from the high resolution photos they took. The people at DTA were very helpful with my request for a price on inspecting my roof when I had a leak recently. Price was reasonable and the photos delivered via the web were great, very high resolution and I was able to zoom right in and see everything that I needed to identify the problems. They advised on how they could fly the drone legally in my street and on the day the pilot was really professional and made us feel very confident that it was going to be done properly and safely. Drone Tech Aerospace is my third start-up technology now.
In 2002 I founded "n.able technology services" a company which has grown significantly over 16 years, delivered excellent quality and value for money to its clients and provided employment to more than 100 degree qualified engineers.
In 2010 I founded TecruiT, a technology recruitment company.
TecruiT has also grown nicely and placed many great engineers and technologists in rewarding jobs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A passion for technology and customer service.
A drive to contribute to our economy and country in the best way that I can.

At DTA we develop our own drone technology, electronics and software, from the ground up.
Our systems are not simple off-the-shelf drones.
Our bespoke proprietary drone technology offers capability not available from our competitors and enables us to deliver market leading quality and accuracy in land topographical surveying as just one example.
Additionally we frequently develop new capabilities specific to customer needs, such as the addition of RFID and bar-code scanners to our systems.
