Földy Carolin-e Hi there! We spent the last 2 nights at your hotel, which was a wonderful experience! Now, I forgot my necklace under the pillow in room 546, when we left this morning. It's a golden, quite long one with a couple of pendants on it. It is super important to me, since I got it from my dad who'd passed away. I'm sure, the cleaning troupe must have found it, since they were cleaning the 5th floor when we left the place. There was this man, not too tall, not too slim, who said he didn't speak any English (not sure if he was Spanish) - whom I tried to explain that the room was empty now. My cousin lives in London and would pass by to pick it up, as soon as you have it ready. I'd be very thankful for your help! Best regards, Caroline More...

Very nice hotel and not far from the tube station,wetherspoons is just round the corner too,I have the Hilton honours, but unfortunately wasnt put on the 3rd floor which is reserved for those that have Hilton honours!

It's a nice hotel. Got a nice refurbished room. Bed too small. House Keeping needs more attention as I had dirty cups & used Kettle. The Tray itself was dirty. Reception staff could explain more about the breakfast timing etc to be honest. Asked for a late checkout and got told check in the morning. More...

Stayed just 1 night (Wed 28 Jun). Checkin was quick & professional. Wanted to stay Holiday Inn Express City ( where I've stayed before) but pleasantly surprised that DoubleTree Islington rate including breakfast was £50 cheaper which was good for both wallet & stomach as the breakfast buffet head & shoulders better than HIE. Room including bathroom very good and, again, better than HIE. All staff were courteous, professional & helpful. Warm cookies, friendly welcome, excellent service, clean & modern rooms. 10-15 minute walk from the Eurostar terminal, so very handy for a night before the journey stopover.
Only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because they forgot the extra memory foam pillows we’d requested via the Hilton app.
