Great attention to detail. Excellent drawings. Initial overall design idea was spot on. Ensured the final design for a level access bedroom and wetroom met the needs of our disabled son and ourselves. This took a few months of discussion and amendments to the details of the design, but it was time well spent. David acted as managing agent during the build and ensured everything was completed exactly to specification. Also ensured that all safety certificates, guarantees and operating instructions were handed over to us. Our son is very happy with his extension, having settled into it and gained more independence immediately. Family life is less stressful, as caring for him is much easier and less time consuming. Designing for a child who is growing and has evolving needs is very challenging, but David was up for the challenge. More...

Our decision to employ DMA Associates to design and obtain planning permission for a detached bungalow proved to be fully justified. Dave and Mike demonstrated their professionalism throughout the process, displaying a comprehensive knowledge of planning law, design options and future considerations well above our expectations. Their drawings, plans and elevations were of the highest standard and when coupled with a comprehensive "planning statement" we obtained planning consent from our council at the first attempt. From his first visit to our home David was friendly and helpful, making useful and sensible suggestions for our house extension. We had an idea of what we wanted to do but were also looking for guidance on how to do it, or ways of doing things that we hadn't thought of. Meeting and listening to people and their property desires. It is also very rewarding seeing a project you have designed and in some cases managed, coming to fruition.

Being able to offer that one to one service where a good professional relationship can be built with our clients.

Were are professional and qualified bringing the thought, care and skills required . We are approachable, responsive and helpful, customer services is key to our success. Our fee rates are also competitive and we obtain very good customer feedback. We have worked with a huge variety of clients over the years, from lawyers, case managers, seriously injured individuals, footballers, TV personalities, homeowners, Housing Associations, businesses, charities, church groups, community organisations, insurers and insurers agents, as well as Banks and contractors. We work will all people and most situations and we use skills learned from one project to improve our services to the next. Architectural Design
We love exploring design with our clients. We make use of sketch designs, detailed drawing proposals that can be sent electronically and also 3D sketches so our clients are able to visualise the proposals more clearly before making their final design decisions.
Disability Adaptations
We specialise in adaptations to suit disabilities, we focus on many aspects, not least accessibility, space required and individual needs. We also assist clients in identifying suitable properties. We work closely with other professionals were required including Case Managers and OT's and assisted technology engineers.
Project Management
We can prepare detailed Tender specifications and designs as well as obtaining prices from contractors and managing works on behalf of our clients. We will suggest and prepare a suitable Building Contract and work with our clients to keep projects controlled both in terms of time and cost.
Expert Witness Disability Accommodation
We also act for the Courts is matters of professional opinion, in respect of disability accommodation needs. We are instructed by both claimant & defense lawyers and on a Single Joint Expert Basis. We have been instructed by many leading law firms on behalf of both claimants and insurers, in often complex cases, following serious injury or negligence.
