We were very happy with Divine Intervention. The carers were very respectful and caring and the management responded quickly to any questions I had. I would have liked to have been able to access the more comprehensive record of the carers visits and any actions taken, rather than having to ask for details, but all in all I would recommend them highly. We felt so lucky that Heartlands Hospital provided end of life care with Divine Intervention.I will be forever grateful for the compassion they gave my husband during the last two months of his life. They treated him with such dignity and love whilst being completely professional in every way. Their positivity and humour brightened our day and their support and care for me helped me through this difficult and heartbreaking time.I could not have got through it without them and every day we felt such gratitude that we had such a wonderful team coming into our home. I would whole heartedly recommend Nicky and her team as professional, compassionate carers in the true sense of the word.Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.Mary. More...

I highly recommend Divine Intervention. We are truly indebted for everything they have done every day for us these past three years. The carers have been utterly wonderful in caring for my dear mum and in helping my dad to have her at home with him despite her very poor health. Divine Intervention are reliable, respectful, sensitive and capable loving people. Thank you all so much. More...

We have been exceptionally pleased with the service my father and family have received over the past months. Nicky, Ben and all of the team have been very professional in both their approach and support. Communication, advice, empathy and care has been superb at all times in particular difficult circumstances for us all. Their ongoing care, health monitoring and advice to my bed-ridden father and family has been second to none. We have all been very impressed with the assistance that was given to make my father's time as comfortable as possible. All of the team were kind, considerate and respectful in their approach and nothing was too much trouble. We were very lucky and it was an honour and privilege to have engaged such a professional and understanding team. Highly recommended! More...

Nicky and Ben and staff looked after my dad during the time he was at home after a long stay in hospital. I really cannot rate highly enough the care, respect and dignity that was given to my dad during this time. Not only did they care for my dad but always made sure my mum and I were ok too. They made sure my dad was comfortable but were so considerate, gentle and kind, never rushing and even making sure they were around at the same time as district nurses to ensure dad was not repeatedly disturbed. My mum and I can only be thankful that Nicky Ben and the team were appointed to provide the care that my dad needed and deserved. Cannot rate highly enough!!! More...

Divine Intervention provided care for my Dad in his own home. They were totally reliable and I was very happy with the quality of the care. The staff were very kind to my Dad and they were the first carers he has accepted - we had tried other agencies previously. They did a lot in the time allocated including leaving everything very clean and tidy. More...

Nicky and her team cared for my husband Ruchard who was terminally ill with cancer during December 2021. Nothing was too much trouble they went above and beyond with their care. They were always positive and uplifting on their visits and showed Richard the dignity he deserved. I would recommend them to care for your loved one. I would also like to mention Vicky who was with Richard as he passed she was amazing. More...

Divine intervention cared for my husband when he was suffering from a terminal illness. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and empathy for us both. They ensured his dignity and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Nicky for helping us navigate a situation that we weren’t familiar with, and also to Janet and Muna who were our regular carers. Everyone that we met from the team held the same high standards and were just wonderful. More...

We were so privileged and lucky to have care received from Divine Intervention. My late husband needed support at home for his care and we were allocated to Ben and Nicky and the team. The care given was above and beyond and I am so grateful. Even at end of life the care they gave him was dignified and respectful. We were fortunate to have the care not just in the day but a night sitter also which gave myself and our children time to rest without worry. The final night when the carer Chris came in he knew what was in store and sat with me during Scott's final moments. He helped me to wash him and dress him ready for a funeral too. It was an emotional experience but he was there to take care of not just Scott but all of us that evening. I cannot thank all the staff who looked after Scott enough I know he was so grateful for the care received and thanked everyone every time they visited too. I will always recommend these wonderful carers to anyone who needed just that little extra help at home. More...

Q&As

As a director, I love the fact that our organisation, even though a business, provides excellent care and support for individuals and we help them to live as independently as possible whilst we maintain their identity and promote their right of choice and decision making in all aspects of their care.

By nature of the work we do, I am delighted that we always put smile in the faces of our service users and their families.

Having being a care worker for many years and risen through the rank and file, I had the opportunity to meet different people with different needs and preferences. In the course of this, I realised I did not have the opportunity to provide as much person-centred care services as I wished to do due to different constraints.

Therefore, due to the passion I have for helping other people, I teamed up with another very well experienced person who also share my enthusiasm and vision, to establish this organisation.

Potential service users should choose us simply because we are one of the best in town!

This may sound as a cliche but it is true. The only way to find out is to give us a try, and I am highly confident that a trial will convince you. If service users are not satisfied with our service, they can terminate the contract immediately.
