What a great night! Simon really made my 40th party at Torrington Hall in St Albans very special. It was so lovely to be able to hire a DJ who was so attuned to the type of music that we wanted - with no hesitations! Lots of communication ahead of the night and Simon kindly went to check out the venue, too. Simon even arrived dressed to the party theme and everybody commented on how friendly he was. I had lots of messages, too to say "Great music, great atmosphere!" Simon was also great with the kids and had some karaoke set up so I wouldn't hesitate booking him for a kids party, too. AWESOME DJ! Simon is always be first on my list to invite!Simon did a great job at my birthday - with all of the guests complimenting the choice of music, and Simon even dressing up to get into the spirit of the theme "What I wanted to be when I grew up". My fiance and I had no hesitation in asking him to DJ our wedding. He was absolutely brilliant. He took the time to ask us what tracks we liked, and if there was anything we absoutely wanted to avoid, he arrived dressed for the occasion - a 30's "twist" as it was at The Gatsby in Berkhamsted - and was kind enough to help us introduce the "First Dance". We were doing something a little "different" (The Rocky Horror Show which saw my new husband and I stripped down to our underwear as Brad and Janet) - and because of the amount of co-ordination, we knew we needed someone to hold it all together. Simon was amazing - he followed my script, adapted to the last minute changes, and then "let the party and the sounds rock on" for the rest of the night. (yes, that's 'Frank' you can see in the right hand corner of the second photo, and I thought I'd post at least one pic of us in full wedding attire!!) Simon came, organised, happy, flexible and happy to run our schools pta fundraiser disco. He interacted with the kids, was polite, on the ball, and played the right music for our 2 ages groups on consecutive discos. He ran games, gave prizes and kept even the littlest children (and also the older children!) focused for an hour each. Thank you Mr. Mole, would recommend for other pta's. More...

We recently hired Simon to Dj for our wedding anniversary on the recommendation of a friend of ours. Thankfully we made just the right choice. Early on in the evening he kept the children entertained with games, competitions and some highly energetic dancing. His manner with them was wonderful. Once they were worn out it was the turn of the adults. We were most impressed that with such a wide age range he was able to keep everyone involved with a great mix of tracks from all eras. The dance floor was full all evening and so many of our guests have said what a fantastic night they had, commenting on our choice of Dj. Many thanks Simon. We will certainly be passing your name on. Diamond Discos came recommended and we can wholeheartedly endorse them too! WARNING: only book if you want a high energy, fun packed kids disco! Saying that, they do grown ups too and we've already booked Diamond Discos for my husband's 40th! Our little girl and her friends were simply extactic by the perfect play list and especially the interactive games.It turns out the DJ has many years experience of working with children and it showed because he had just the right touch. I recently hired Diamond Discos to dj for my engagement party. Right from the beginning I found Simon to be friendly and professional. I particularly liked the fact that my fiance and I were able to include as many songs into the playlist as we wanted. I think we may have gone a bit over the top! They were all included though and there were plenty of surprises that we all loved.The disco was brilliant, the music kept everyone dancing all night and the lighting created a fantastic atmosphere.Thank you Diamond Discos for helping to create such a wonderful night for us. We've used Simon a couple of times over a short period and will be using him again as soon as we can think of another reason for a disco! He is extremely friendly but also very professional. We have always had prompt & clear communication from him. He arrives punctually, sets up quickly and without any fuss and then basically does whatever we need! He isn't one of those DJs who talks into the microphone all night - you can dance uninterrupted if you like! He was also really good at finding obscure tracks at short notice....Basically, he is professional, reasonably priced, great fun, flexible and a nice guy. Highly, highly recommended! More...

I can fully recommend Simon. I had a 80's themed 40th. The music was all 80's and was SO good the dance floor did not empty once throughout the night. Everyone really had a great time that people still talk about how great my party was. It was definitely a night which was enjoyed by all and a memory which will never be forgotten.You will be guaranteed a night to remember at a great and affordable cost!I would definately be using Simon , again! I employed Diamond Discos a month ago for a footballers presentation evening. From the very beginning I found Simon very approachable and easy to discuss our ideas with. I felt confident that Diamond Discos would provide us with the right kind of music and create a really good atmosphere. I'm pleased to say i was right. We all had a fantastic evening, lots of dancing, guests making song requests which he was very happy to oblige with and we even a bit of karaoke towards the end which was a great laugh.
