A group of us went to Designate and had a fabulous tapas style menu in the cosy private room with comfy sofas and open fire - it really was like the comforts of home with none of the cleaning and washing up. The food was delicious and varied and Kirsty was really accommodating about different dietary requests, last minute changes and making us feel really welcome and relaxed. Wow! We booked the private room for 11 of us to gather together and ordered the tapas menu. Seriously, there was so much food we didn’t eat all of it and we can eat! One of our party is a self confessed fuss pot, she was able to order a pizza, and another is gluten intolerant, and was catered for without question. When one of our party was unable to come at the last minute, there was no problem! The atmosphere was just like being at home, the fire was lit, there are armchairs to relax in and Kirsty and her husband were the perfect hosts, attentive without being intrusive. A wonderful venue, definitely worth a visit. 10/10 More...
