I completed the 6 week shred package. Safe to say it was one of the best decisions I made, I lost 11lbs and 7 inches. Thoroughly tough but fantastic classes. Thank you Dave.

I have been going to boot camps for over a year now (nearly 2) and the one thing i love about the sessions is they are never the same. I started with 2 sessions a week and now 3 sessions they do become addictive. Delta Charlie Fitness and Wellbeing-Personal Trainer has always been more than willing to give any additional advice. Started coming to Delta Charlotte Fitness as I had a holiday coming up and wanted to get rid of a few pounds! Lost a stone in just under 5 weeks just by going to three sessions a week and following a diet where I still got to eat my favourite foods! There isn't enough words out there for me to explain how great Dave is as a Personal Trainer. I've trained with dave for over a year now. My goal was to lose weight and tone up. Not only has he made this achievable, he's helped give me direction, focus and a purpose; shining light on career potentials I never would have otherwise thought of. All in all Dave has helped to create a better version of myself. Thanks to him I am top of my game, fitter, stronger and gaining new found confidence all the time. Of course, I've had days where I've wanted to quit and throw in the towel, but having such a supportive and motivated guy beside me the whole way has given me the determination to keep going. I've completed things I never would have thought I would have been able too, such as running Plymouth half marathon and completing the tough mudder full. I joint Delta Charlie Fitness on the Plymouth Shred programme and lost just under 8kg in weight in 6 weeks and around 2 inches off my waist. The HIIT sessions were very well organised with a great group and Dave leading the charge to make sure we got the most from them. The nutrition plan was easy to follow and very effective and Dave was always on hand for ad hoc advice whenever needed. Thoroughly recommend this plan, put the effort in and you will see results, simple as that. What can we say !?! As winners of the 6 week shred competition we were so excited to win something♥️. Mark hated me for a bit , but agreed it was time to stop messing around . The nerves and dread set in as the start date was looming I was so nervous on our first session, really didn’t think I could do it . But the group motivation is amazing , everyone is very friendly and welcoming . We give each other the oh gosh grunt every now and again . But we keep going .... Dave you really are amazing, you’ve given us a fantastic start on our lifestyle change and we will be forever grateful❤️ Between us both we have lost over 2 stone and 33inches off our bodies . I completed the shred package and it was the best thing I did. I lost weight, toned up, improved my general fitness, gained confidence, made friends, gained an understanding of my nutritional needs and also found my love for exercise. Joined Dave's Boot Camp classes a few sessions ago, as part of a Plymouth radio promotion, and I can honestly say it's one of the best things I've done! As a complete BC novice, I felt welcomed by the group, the workouts are epic, and the results speak for themselves. Already I'm seeing improved stamina in myself, and for the first time in ages feeling good about exercise. These sessions really are for all abilities, the encouragement received to do better is well placed and not too pushy. I've attended many bootcamps in different parts of the country and Dave's outdoor HIIT-based sessions are great. Around 45 minutes with a proper warm-up and cooldown/stretch the content is consistently well thought out and effective. Well worth the effort even at 6am in the middle of Winter, so that says a lot ! Plenty of positive encouragement to do your best and a really nice bunch of people there too. I do a lot of cardio training already and having experienced his bootcamps I started PT (free weights) with Dave a few weeks ago at his private gym to build strength for both future events and wider targeted fitness progression. The first session included over 45 minutes of initial consultation and discussion to get goals and priorities clarified. We also did a few days of diet monitoring / food logging using his app to check my nutrition habits and levels against my goals. I haven't been long on the weights and the benefits of having someone watch and correct your form like a hawk so you don't go careering into injury off the starting grid, and also set your progressions for you during a workout, can't be overstated. Having your weights set up for you during recovery is a luxury bonus Dave goes much further than many to understand what makes you tick and tailor time spent in 1:1 PT effectively. He's also a mad keen runner and answered a load of questions I had about progressing that between sets on the weights. I also find him a great laugh, very friendly and easy to get on with, without that being in any way at the expense of professionalism. I'm there to train hard - you get out what you put in - and we always do that. You get a small gym, a coach/trainer and a workout buddy in one package, and (equally importantly) you get accountability to turn up and train against a tonne of competing demands pulling the other way. It works for me. The gym is rigged up with everything you actually need for most goals with none of the distraction / downsides of a big impersonal one. If you want to watch other people working out and a load of fancy looking bells and whistles you're in the wrong place. You can also just get cracking on your weakest areas in complete privacy. I started training with Dave about 7 months ago thinking I'd maybe do one or two bootcamps a week but I do all three when I can as I get so much out of them! ! The sessions are great, a tough workout, but always feel good after! The sessions are so varied which keeps my interest peaked and I really enjoy working out outside. I've been attending morning bootcamps for a while now, and while dragging my lazy self out of bed at an ungodly hour is hard going. ....It's absolutely worth it! i work to my own ability, so it never gets easy...i just get stronger. No two sessions are ever the same, so it never gets boring. Dave takes no nonsense, if you need telling, he'll tell you and wont mince your words..but he also takes a genuine interest and always makes you feel welcome and valued. Bootcamp has really helped my run performance, and kept me at a decent race pace, even when I've not been able to get out running as much as I'd like. I can't recommend Dave enough...don't be scared of your limitations, it's all in your head. Just give it a go...you wont regret it! More...

I love being part of this bootcamp group! Everyone is so friendly and I get pushed to my limit every week. I find each session that I can push myself more and more and, while i may not 'like a session' at the time, we always have a laugh and feel the enjoyment and benefit afterwards. Been going to these bootcamps for 1 year now and I must say it’s excellent. Great value for money too. I’ve also had one to one sessions with Dave and these are also great. Not only had it improved my fitness I’ve seen a MASSIVE change in my body. Without going to see Dave and his bootcamp I don’t think this would have been possible. I originally posted a review after completing a few months of boot camps. Well, I’m now officially celebrating a year of boot camp training with Dave! I attend between 2 or 3 sessions a week depending on work commitments, plus generally run a weekly 10km which took me to my first official race in 2018 in an amazing time. This running certainly would not have been possible without the boot camp sessions. Dave is always enthusiastic and encouraging . . . even with my whinging! If you are looking for a dance class these sessions are not for you! I started out attending a morning bootcamp session out in the cold at 6am. I managed to fit this session into my lifestyle and did it to compliment other gym classes. With Dave’s sessions and encouragement I entered my first 10K race which seemed a daunting task, but conquered it and it felt exhilarating. With a change in my home life and fitness goals, I now attend one of Dave’s evening bootcamp sessions. My cardiovascular fitness and stamina has improved ten fold. I enjoy my weekly bootcamp and bizarrely even look forward to the beasting that we are given. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone who are looking to lose fat, get fit, improve stamina and compliment other fitness programs, although Dave offers his own packages to meet your own personal needs. So I started off with a boot camp session and the next thing I knew I'd signed up for a 6 week shred package with Dave. The sessions are tough and sweaty hard work, but with Dave's passion constantly coming through he is the perfect motivator. I did a 12 week package of personal training with Dave and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Dave is a great PT who is equal parts encouraging and tough - I never left a session without feeling proud of how far my fitness had improved week on week. I was fortunate to be given a voucher for two free personal fitness sessions with David from a charity event that he had kindly donated this too. On getting in touch David was instantly friendly approachable and happy to help, wanting me to get the absolute most from the sessions even though he was giving his free time. Each session I was pushed to ensure I got the maximum from it with different interesting exercises using all the different machines and even a bit of boxing. I thoroughly enjoyed both sessions and learnt a great deal from them. He even gave me nutritional and diet information which explained things in a better way for me to follow going forward. I would like to say that I have just done a block of 10 sessions with Dave working indoors and out and in a variety of weather �
I rarely use the word 'enjoy' where exercise is involved but I can honestly say that working with Dave has been a pleasure. I can really feel the benefits of being stronger and more toned and I might even have lost a bit of weight along the way!
Dave is a great PT, motivated, motivating and very good at what he does.

I am not an exercise lover and often as the day goes by make excuses as to why I cant go to a class or the gym after work or later on in the evening. The boot camp classes early in the morning are really good for me as I just set my alarm and get up and go, no time for procrastinating or changing my mind, its exercise out of the way before the day even begins. Its lovely to exercise in such a nice park early on when its quiet and Dave gives us just the right amount of individual challenge and encouragement, he gives us a good workout but adds some humour so its fun . He is really knowledgeable about how to be healthy and always has useful pointers to give us when asked - he is not patronising or preachy as I have found other trainers. I feel so much fitter and capable now and never thought I would ever say that I look forward to getting up at 6am to exercise in the park but I love the feeling it gives me for the rest of the day and as well as being fitter, my body shape has started to change too, the results speak for themselves! I’ve been attending Dave’s Boot Camp now for just over 3 months, having done no exercise for years. I’ve lost inches and my fitness levels have massively increased. Whilst the sessions have similar exercises each week, Dave mixes it up and no two sessions are ever the same. It’s clear he is passionate about what he does and wants to help you achieve what you probably thought was impossible when you first walked through the door. I've been attending Dave's Thursday boot camp sessions for the past few weeks and although I never saw myself as someone who would enjoy working out at 6:30 am in the dark and all weathers it's actually really good fun! Dave is a great trainer, knows his stuff and knows how to motivate us and tailor the sessions for all levels of ability. Small groups mean a more personal feel and individual attention, plus everyone is really friendly and welcoming. Dave really knows his stuff to be fair! I thought I knew what I was doing and only hired him to assist me pushing further. But he knew exactly what I had been lacking in my training. I have made lots of progress with him in the gym and would 100% recommend. He also has his own app that allows me to track food and stuff and it's so much better than the free ones you can download. Dave was full of knowledge and managed to design and plan workouts around my hectic work life. Sometimes he would fit me in with 1 hour notice! At first I did not think outdoor PT would work for me as I wanted to lose weight and gain a little muscle. After 8 weeks I feel fitter, lighter and faster. I have a long way to go but happy I will get there. Dave almost created a gym outside with bands and straps and balls etc. I will use him for as long as I need to and we plan on upping the work soon to get in a gym. Already recommended to friends!!!
