Residential Interior Designers

Deborah has helped me realise my dream of a renovated home by the seaside. her ideas and suggestions helped me to understand what would work in the space and what would not look so good. All her ideas were put forward for me to be a part of the decision making process. One of the biggest areas of stress could have been liaising with the different trades and contractors. Deborah works with a trusted team of trades and helped with translating my requirements and decisions to the various trades. A great help as I dealt with Deborah who then dealt with the different trades.
I was provided with a written contract that set out what to expect of our relationship and updates and invoicing happened along the way.
Nothing happened without my knowledge and I would have confidence in recommending Deborah to anyone else wanting to use an interior designer to help with their project.
I would use Deborah again although I hope to move in soon with no more renovation work for a while!
Deborah has great style and many practical ways to solve problems and is easy to get along with.

Q&As

First an initial consultation via the telephone to understand a little bit more about your project and for me to outline the process I follow. This is free to you.

The next stage is for me to undertake a site visit to both meet you and see the property and to understand what you are looking for in order to form a brief.

If you then wanted to go ahead and hire me and my services then a contract is signed at this stage. This is then followed by a consultive process where the design is developed. I would also organise any construction trades to carry out the work and agree timelines. Work then begins (mobilisation) and is fully project managed by myself until completion and client sign off.

Every job is individual and so timelines can vary dependant on what the project involves.

I very much lean towards modern and contemporary lifestyle choices

As a designer, we are problem solvers so there is nothing better than someone coming to me as they are stuck on a design problem. By researching and exploring different ideas and approaches I love to come up with something that is going to create a wow factor but also very lovable with. When the ideas I have visualised get made into reality and my client loves them that is what I love. It is so nice to see a pleased and happy client at the end of the process.

I love my job of designing and wanted the freedom to run a business that would let me do that.

I am fully qualified Interior Designer having studied and gaining a Bachelor of Arts Honary Degree in Interior Design graduating in 2013. I put a lot of care and attention into thinking about and getting the right design for the client and property. I run my business with integrity and honesty and use only construction trades who I know are 100% professional and I can trust. I run all projects using the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Plan of Work and am an associate member of the British Institute of Interior Design. This ensures I am working to the highest standards of design in the Design and Construction in the Industry which are maintained at all times.

I am also fully insured and hold Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance as do my contractors.
