David Forestier-Walker Garden & Landscape Design is a small practice based in Suffolk and London. Most of our projects are located in the UK and Europe, with a few undertaken further afield. Work ranges from large gardens and parklands to smaller gardens and City courtyards.

Having seen a couple of gardens designed by DFW Garden Design I can thoroughly recommend the quality of their garden design and implementation.
They manage to totally transform a property by surrounding them with a careful combination of both formal garden and more natural planting.

David is without a doubt one of the most talented and engaging garden architects there is. His attention to detail and his love of plants is truly inspiring. David designed and supervised the complete installation of our Thorpeness garden. Before David began work the space was bland and in desperate need of love- after he left we have passers by stopping almost every day to comment on the beauty and style of our garden. No matter what time of year the garden is a sea of colour and style and it blends so beautifully into the Meare at the bottom of our garden. David not only installed our garden but has been in close touch ever since, suggesting additions and maintaining the most complex plants including our 60-year-old olive trees. We found David online as we were looking for someone to help overhaul a clients garden in the South of France to make it more 'film friendly' and I cannot speak highly enough of the finished product. David was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the whole process, he really took onboard our comments regarding the structure and colour scheme we were after and we had an extremely happy client at the end of it, not to mention a now very beautiful film friendly garden! What inspired you to start your own business?
Head designer David Forestier-Walker has successfully practiced garden design for over 20 years and remains very hands-on in each and every project. From a sound horticultural background he has built-up a loyal and diverse client list and a wide-ranging portfolio of works, wining top awards at Chelsea and the Asian Property Awards.
