what an amazing little zoo. we done a tiger experience and it was amazing. All the staff we meet were wonderful, friendly and helpful. We asked one of the girls in the restaurant what were the chances of getting a signed book and she said leave it with her. An hour later we got a phone call and met Benjamin and his daughter Ella. Both as lovely as the rest of the crew that work hard to keep this place running. Well done to all and thank you soo very much helping us make memories that will last forever !! More...

A good day out. Experience reflective of price. Has great potential, could do with some TLC and investment to bring it to a fully professional landmark.

It is amazing place for every age. Every time we go there we spend hours and hours there, when Ch usually means that we one of the last to leave. The zoo has a wide range of animals from lions and tigers to meerkats and spiders. The café has great food and does awesome hot chocolates and it's a really great place to dine. More...

Nice little zoo, have sadly lost their bear and slot of their wolves but still a good day out. Would benefit from some works on the path to disabled parking and wasp traps around the picnic area - there are lots about

Small zoo but if you keep your expectations realistic it is very good. Realistically it is a couple of hours max you can spend here so not an all day experience.

The zoo is well organised and there is plenty to see and do for all ages. The zoo has a great back story that is captured in the Hollywood film made in 2011 “We bought a zoo”. The restaurant is not expensive and there are a couple of picnic areas. The restaurant allows you to also bring in your own food (never seen this before). The staff are very friendly. I spoke to a member of the team about the back story. The gift shop is reasonably priced. The entry price was discounted due as visitors the National Maritime Aquarian (50%). In summary, a great day out that I would highly recommend. More...

My best friend and I had the best day as Big Cat Zookeepers. The staff were really friendly, the animals were just stunning and we were amazed at how close we were able to get to them - whilst still being safe of course. Oh, and lunch was really scrumptious too. More...

Excellent zoo, very hands on. You can get very close to the animals, especially the lion's and tiger's which was great. There's an area where we were stroking goat's, wallabies and even a deer who hopped over the fence and strolled around trying to steal the goat's food. Also watched some falconry with hawks literally skimming just over our heads. Altogether a great day out and would highly recommend. More...

If you are looking for a fairly relaxed day and don't like crowds then this is a nice day out. The stars are the big cats which you can get quite close to. ..lions and tigers.. Jaguar and cheetahs. However there aren't a lot of other attractions and older children might be a bit bored but the volunteers are really friendly and knowledgeable. More...

Excellent day out where you really see the big cats due to the design of the enclosures. On the down side there is NO HP sauce in the restaurant. How are you meant to have a pasty without HP? Do they think we're from the continent with their fancy ketchup and mayo? More...
