We brought our dad the forging experience for Father’s Day. He doesn’t use Facebook but he today came home after spending the day there and I can honestly say I’ve never seen him so excited! He loved it, the staff were great, the atmosphere was great and he couldn’t have enjoyed himself more. He said there was so much choice in regards to what to make and he was so proud of his work! What an amazing an experience! I couldn't recommend Oldfield Forge enough. There's something so rewarding about starting the day with a piece of steel then finishing up with a something handcrafted you can take home. My girlfriend surprised me with the knife making course for my birthday. Ben and Chris the two blacksmiths that taught me were really friendly, welcoming and very encouraging, they made the day so much fun from start to finish and didn't rush us when we ran over the alloted time. They even invited us to sit down with them for dinner when we saw them in the local pub! Great guys! Brilliant day even though it was really hard work! They made it look so easy, you can't help but admire the work they do. Hope I can go back soon and make something else More...
