Q&A

I can be performing, recording, teaching or writing music in different places and with completely different people every day; and I find that very exciting! All of these different encounters provide fresh challenges on a daily basis, so that you never stop learning and developing your skills. It can be very difficult trying to base your livelihood around music, but being able to succeed professionally with your passion is tremendously rewarding.

I've wanted to pursue music professionally since secondary school. A school trip to London's Royal College of Music left a lasting impression and convinced me that I wanted to succeed as a musician.

Unlike many, I am just as passionate about tuition and education as I am about performing live. And I approach my teaching with the same zeal as I do my own music. I have always sought to be a versatile and consummate musician, enriching lessons and inspiring students with my performance experience whilst drawing on lessons I've learned whilst teaching when performing on stage. So I'm able to offer students a rich, stimulating and varied learning experience, and can be relied upon to provide the perfect musical showpiece or backdrop for your event.
