Had a meal with friends while we were camping down the road on Saturday night
A few beers watching football before some great food & fantastic service by our waitress Leah.
She really looked after us & had a laugh with us making it a fantastic night.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal at the Crown very much. Lovely dining room decorated with fairy lights. Our waitress Leah looked after us very well. We had main meals only, gammon, egg, chips and peas and scampi chips and peas, a drink each. Reasonable price at £25.00. Looking forward to our next visit with our family. More...

Traditional pub but exactly what the doctor ordered. Be nice if the car park could be improved and care must bd taken crossing the road.

Nice people, great food, price reasonable. They were very helpful re ensuring I had a safe gluten free meal, even showed me the ingredients label for the ketchup.

Pretty bistro style inside with pretty fairy lights. But, I've never been served a glass of wine in a straight glass and the waitresses seem bewildered and confused.

Eaten here twice now, when I visit the area to support the runners on the full length Offa's Dyke running race. Great food, really generous portions and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Lovely atmosphere. Huge portions of delicious homemade food (lamb shoulder fell off the bone and could have fed a small family). Staff were very attentive, efficient and friendly More...
