We were looking for an oak dining table and Country Ways was recommended to us by a neighbour. It turned out to be a good decision. At the design stage the staff were very friendly and helpful and once we ordered the table it was completed and delivered in less than two weeks - sooner than expected. After struggling to find furniture on the high street we stumbled across country oak furniture whilst on holiday, after a brief chat and a few emails we revisited to design the 4 pieces of furniture we riquired. As the showroom was quite some way Gary offered to open on the Sunday to accommodate our availablity Gary was helpful taking us step by step trough every part of my design thoughts, providing samples where we needed a choice or more help. We spent around 1 1/2 hours ensuring everything was agreed. This time was critical to ensure we were happy and Gary had all the details correct but at no time did Gary rush us. Following our visit we were sent the detailed specification, confirmed it was accurate and waited 5 weeks for the furniture to be made. Prior to the collection of the furniture we received pictures and the deliverydate was agreed. We approached Country Ways Oak to make us a dining table at the end of last year, and at the same time bought a sideboard and chairs, Gary was very helpful in steering us through the process and ensured that he knew exactly what we wanted. When delivered the table and chairs were exactly as we had envisaged and form the centrepiece of our dining room.

Early this year we set Gary and his colleague Simon another challenge. We wanted to fit wardrobes and low drawer units into our bedroom and an adjacent dressing room, but couldn't find anything suitable. Again Gary helped identify a range of oak units that would meet our requirements; we wanted minor modifications to the low drawer units and this was no problem at all.

The third, and greatest challenge we set was to make us bespoke oak bathroom units in the same style as the fitted units. We had looked for quality bathroom furniture elsewhere without success. Gary and Simon worked with us to pull together my sketches and floor plans to get a workable design that when built passed all of our expectations. It is stunning, and as my daughter said, "makes the bathroom like those in a 5* hotel" .

I have no hesitation in recommending Country Oak Furniture. At every stage Gary and Simon have been helpful, makes sure I know what is going on; they are happy to show me the 'work in progress' and have produced beautiful furniture that has really enhanced the look and feel of our home. More...
