I have kept Koi for a number of years and this was my first order from Cotswold Koi. As is the way when keeping koi, if one thing fails then you can pretty well guess you need to give your pond a good checking. as the weather warmed, I had an air pump fail, "Lucky" I thought as i have two attached. So i switch onthe spare and that failed instantly. Drove 70 mile each way today to visit Cotswold koi because I struggled to find a company local to provide expert advice and supply the equipment I needed for my new koi pond. Cotswold Koi adopted a consultative job through listening to what we wanted but then coming up with either ideas to enhance ours or with alternative suggestions if they felt what we wanted wouldn't work or wasn't feasible. I have dealt with rob for more than 4 years I used to have other people I went to for fish and pond work but now I only deal with Rob he is far better than anyone else I have used as I have found out to my cost, he has fixed my pond and improved it since I have known him and educated me on my fish and looking feet them along the way. Rob has built two ponds for me and both were high quality pieces of work. So good in fact that he also built a double garage, porch and a study, all of which we are extremely happy with. Highly Recommend. We bought Koi from Rob in January but due to the extreme weather conditions he was unwilling to transport them. He kept them on, with our agreement, at his at his own expense, until the weather improved. Rob always kept in contact with emails, pictures and phone calls while the fish were under his care. We managed to get a gap in the weather so he boxed them yesterday and glad to say we had them delivered today. Fish were all healthy and stunning. Would use again without hesitation. Over a few years Rob has assisted us with moving our fish to a new property, setting up a temporary pond while he constructed our new pond and installing a new bead filter system. We now have a beautiful, crystal clear pond and are currently adding to our fish from Rob's excellent stock. When we had a problem with our water quality last year ( prior to the new filter system ) Rob came out in the evening to attend to our sick fish & find the cause. After reading the review I was very disappointed and cross, we have had a koi pond for over 10 years and regularly use the above company for advice and service, I have absolutely no complaints what's so ever with them, I would fully recommend them and ask for advice when buying a new koi, they are expensive fish and difficult to keep if not given the right environment.
