Zoe, James and the team are all very professional, punctual and thorough in their work and commitment to their clients. From a Landlord's perspective: James helped through the initial stages of setting the house on the market, did a great job of photography and marketing, who also didn't feel as 'sales-y' or pushy as the other agencies. Cornerstones fully manages the property and we've had back to back (long-term) tenants. Our tenants seem to be happy and Zoe is always very efficient and proactive with communication between myself, tenants and the occasional workman. James and Justin went far and above what I expected from any estate agents. They were courteous and professional, whilst being friendly and easy to talk to. They were instrumental in helping us manage the stress involved in selling our house and buying a new one. When we ran into difficulties in getting a move date agreed with the rest of our chain, it became apparent that other parties' estate agents and solicitors seemed to be less than competent. To make matters worse, the people we were buying from saw fit to direct their frustration at us when the delay was being caused by the professionals they were using. Justin at Cornerstone took it upon himself to act as a shield and go between for us and our vendors, thereby reducing the aggravation and stress we were receiving. This was greatly appreciated, especially with my partner being 30 weeks pregnant at the time and we were worried about how the stress would affect the baby.Having dealt with a number of other estate agents in the past, and liaising with others during this sale. I would strongly suggest other estate agents to take more than a leaf or two out of Cornerstone's book. More...

An up and coming property advertiser claims to be “a proper estate agent”. No they are not. Not by Cornerstones standards anyway. Cornerstone are a TRUE estate agent. They don’t just advertise your property and disappear into the woodwork; they fully engage with you and stick with you throughout the whole process. We sold our house after 1 week but the whole process took more than 6 months to go through with the final 2 months being made a complete nightmare by incompetent idiots in our chain [PPL you should hang hour heads in shame]. James Platt of the Leeds branch of Cornerstone was a super-hero liaising with the entire chain for most of the transaction in an effort to keep things moving when other ‘agents’ lower down the chain were non-existent. Moving house is notorious for being ‘one of the most stressful times of your life’ and it certainly will be if you don’t use people who truly care and work hard to make your move happen as smoothly as possible. James and Cornerstone did this for us – it was still stressful but James and his team kept us sane and I feel sure that if it hadn’t been for them, we would not have moved. Cornerstone genuinely deliver on their promises, I was nervous about using an agent that wasn’t based in my area but having read the reviews and being very keen for a quick sale I decided to try them. James did the valuation and was keen and interested from the outset and made me feel I was in safe hands. Once my house was on the market Justin took over, he could not have been more helpful. I have found all the staff to be professional friendly and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to my friends or family.
