He provides remote health checks, which protect my system, and is always on hand to answer questions if anything is troubling me. He is prompt, efficient and has a high level of technical knowledge. He also helped me source a new printer, and delivered and installed it. What do you love most about your job?
Throughout my previous career as a Police Sergeant I spent a great deal of time troubleshooting individuals's problems with a view to resolving their problems.
Being a computer technician is very similar - Diagnosing a person's problems requires a similar diagnostic approach when dealing with computers and the variety of problems associated with them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Whilst in charge of a Crime Prevention Unit during the early 1990's I was required to create a database to enable my team to locate and record the details of repeat burglaries in the Tottenham area of London.
The best method was to setup a database using a very early version of Microsoft Access, which proved very successful and led us to present our project and findings to the National Police foundation. The scheme was highly commended and eventually adopted by the Metropolitan Police as part of their repeat victimisation policies.
