Food was delicious and huge portions for the price. Staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and nice to the kids when bringing out food. It was great as a vegetarian to see a separate menu sheet with all the veggie and vegan options on, rather than having to scan for tiny 'v's on the main menu. My 21 month old is allergic to milk and the lady serving was lovely about the puddings in the kids' meal deal, allowing us to swap regular ice cream for their vegan ice cream (which by the way I snuck a taste of, and it was so good!!) Really great experience. We don't live very nearby but have family who do, and would definitely recommend it to them, and we are likely to return when we are visiting. More...

All Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Service is great, a real sense off community going on can always count on staff and regulars to cheer you up if your having a “meh” kind off day.

Can’t beat having your favourite drink all cosy next to the log fire.

Very accommodating.
Prices are reasonable.
Food is amazing.

Cannot fault this pub at all.

Oldy, worldy pub with lots of character.
Staff were really friendly.
