What do you love most about your job?
I'm an artist and I view makeup as an extension of my love of art. It's art I can do on myself and on clients.
Also, this might be a bit cliche but it make everyone feel better about them self. I'm passionate about makeup because of its versatility. It's a tool used to express yourself for casual and extravagant occasions, and everything in between. I personally come from a family of artists so I enjoy the artistry side of makeup like runway, avant garde, unconventional types. But it's nice that there are so many sub categories to makeup that can seriously appeal to any and everyone!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My career as makeup artist and beauty therapist journey started from my childhood. I started to paint and won some painting competition back in Romania, so I always have that creative side of me.
I came in UK more than 8 years ago where I've discover many possibilities to develop my passion so for that I moved in London in 2017 were I've trained myself with DFMA Makeup and Hair Academy London in 2016 and The Beauty Academy London in 2017.
From then I continue to do makeup and hair for friends, family and private clients as mobile beautician for weddings, proms and theme parties.
I absolutely love 1920's-1930's Hollywood glamour! The make-up and hairstyles for this era are stunning that I feel is what represent me as an artist.
