Describe your creative process.
To begin we have a discussion about the project you have posted. We discuss why you want the work done, what your goals are and if you have had any ideas you would like me to create.
The design process is like a funnel system. I begin by taking your brief and creating a mock-up for you to provide feedback. Changes are made based on the feedback and I create Version 1 for you to approve. Changes may be requested again until we reach the design and detail you are happy to sign off for completion.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
It is helpful to know the product you would like designing such as Leaflet, Brochure, Menu, Email Newsletter, Promotional Video, Business Card or a full company magazine.
Your timeline is useful as it will help me to understand the urgency of the project.
Designers tend to get a picture in their mind as soon as someone shares their logo, or business name. It helps to see this to get the creative juices flowing.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the creative aspect about my job. I could sit at my computer and design from morning to night especially with a bit of Jazz FM on in the background.
I feel very proud when I produce the completed a project and the buyer is so happy with the final piece.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am the daughter of a serial entrepreneur! I wanted to have the freedom and flexibility to work with many people, on varying projects.

To create the logo I start by having an initial conversation with you. This allows me to discuss ideas you have already and a bit more about your business.
I then create between 5-10 designs for you to look at. From this set of designs I can ascertain the next set of designs based on your likes and dislikes.
This process continues like a funnel until we reach the design you are happy with.
