Clare's incredible skills as a hairstylist and hair colour expert come total naturally to her. Her instinct and eye for detail cannot be taught - she must have been born with it. Recently I arrived for an appointment with Clare saying 'Clare you are going to have to work miracles today'. The weather had taken its toll on my hair and it was lank, lifeless and dry. Fast forward a couple of hours and the transformation was incredible. I left the salon feeling like I had brand new hair. Not only that, Clare is brilliant with children, she makes them feel so comfortable and special and always goes the extra mile. Clare is a fantastic Stylist who has been the one and only Hairdresser i have allowed to experiment on my Hair. I have had some Fantastic styles and some crazy Colour's. Clare has been doing my hair for many years now. She is the only hairdresser I have found who knows how to style my fine hair well to make it look as thick as possible. Clare has done my hair for lots of events and I will no longer go to parties, the races or weddings without going to Clare to have my hair styled. On my wedding day Clare did an amazing job with my hair and also did a great job on my stepmother and 6 bridesmaids. It was a big ask for Clare to do all of those people on her own but she stayed calm and focused the whole day and all the bridesmaids had gorgeous hair that was personal to them rather them all having the same style. I cannot thank Clare enough for everything she did for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. From the minute Clare came to the hotel where we were getting ready, she made me feel relaxed and at ease - much needed as I felt like my pounding heart was going to burst! It was a scorching hot day, I was absolutely boiling in the room - this with my pounding heart, I thought I was going to combust! Clare was so lovely and got me a wet towel to put on my feet (good idea as it did cool me down)!
Clare was so helpful, couldn't do enough for us all, she was so calming, even got me some pillows to rest my head on while she did my makeup. I felt like a celeb!
I'd already had a hair and makeup trial a couple of months before but I didn't have a clue which style to choose. Clare looked at the style of my dress and knew instantly what I should go for. So, I took the professional's advice, I didn't want to try any others, and went for Clare's suggestion of a Audrey Hepburn style. Wow, the transformation was amazing. That style, with the makeup, dress and flowers complimented each other perfectly. I even got a compliment off my husband when I met him at the end of the aisle!!
I would recommend Clare to anyone. She is amazing at what she does, lovely lady both inside and out.
Also, massive thanks to Clare's assistant, she worked hard too and enjoyed working with my bridesmaids.
I'm so glad we met Clare at a wedding fair, I'm so glad I picked her. So, all you lovely brides to be, look no further, Clare is your lady!!
Sorry for the long post but Clare deserves everything I've written and deserves commending on her work. We had an amazing day and alot of it was down to Clare!

Clare was wonderful on my wedding day, very, very patient and thoughtful. She knows her stuff and nothing fazes her. I was worried about looking too 'done up' and not like me and Clare understood that perfectly. I looked like me at my best and the hair and makeup lasted all day even through a few tears! Clare did my wedding hair and make-up and I couldn't have been happier. I decided not to go for the traditional wedding look as it just wasn't me and Clare knew exactly what would suit me which was great. Clare clearly knows her stuff as I wasn't sure about the hairstyle she suggested and it turned out amazing, I would definitely listen to her suggestions, they were much nicer than my ideas. I had an Audrey Hepburn style up do which was fabulous and comfortable. It lasted the whole day and didn't budge but still looked and felt soft and shiny. I always wear dark eye make-up and wanted the same for my big day, I had a beautiful silver and black smoky eyes. My make-up stayed on for the whole day and I don't think I touched it up once. It looked stunning on the wedding photos. I would highly recommend Clare for wedding hair and make-up, so much so that she is now my new regular hairdresser and has recently done a great ombre style effect on my long, dark hair. I got married in Majorca and planned on booking a hairdresser there. I am so lucky to count Clare as one of my closest friends, and although she was a guest, she also offered to do my hair and makeup for me. Clare suggested extensions as I wanted my hair waved to the side and it needed a little more volume and length to get the look I wanted. I had never worn extensions before but Clare helped me choose the right ones. Lots of people commented how fantastic it looked and with the makeup she also did, I couldn't have been happier both on the day, and looking at the professional photos afterwards. Clare did a fantastic job with my hair & make up on my wedding day I looked and felt amazing!! I had a trial before to decide on the style of hair & the look of make up I wanted, so we had an idea of what suited me best. On the day I couldn't have been happier of how things went.
