Valentin. Provided a quotation and arranged a date to carry out the work. I brought materials that cost me hundreds of pounds and arranged a parking permit.
Days before work to start I was sent an email for payment before they started the work, when I explained they need to start work first I received this email:
Unfortunately we took a big project and we are not able to do the job.

Dear Jay, We are sorry you feel disappointed, and we would like to take this opportunity to shine some light on this situation. We provided with a quotation, and according to our correspondence, the job would have happened on 7th of July, like you requested. However, our policy is first come, first served, and we allocated the available team to someone else. Also, our policy is to collect the money just after the service is provided, and we would never send an email asking you to pay before starting the work. As soon as we allocated the last team, we informed you that we don't have any availability left, and that happened on 25 June, 12 days before the time when you would be needing. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!
I first had on of those cleaners that come on their own with a mop and a bucket and it was a disaster,money paid in vain.
Then I called Easy Housekeeping. I should have done this first. They were professional on the phone and face to face. The cleaning process was done in no tine and the house looks as new.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Inspiration comes from the ability to be as creative as you want to be and show people something they potentially have never seen before. For a lot of people, it is about money, fame, freedom and all of that is absolutely realistic and fantastic, but i mostly do it for the excitement of being creative and thinking on my own. When you work for someone else, you are helping them with their own vision. If you are a true entrepreneur, that is all it takes to motivate you to have your own vision and make it a reality. Having a white board in front of you with a team of people that you threw together, trying to make it in a competitive world, makes it all more fun.
I think for me, on top of creativity, it is the ability to stay competitive. Trying to make it in the restaurant industry is virtually impossible, so why do we try. We try so we can see if we have what it takes. That competitive nature is what makes a great entrepreneur.
