I love it, really. It's a bit pricy, but their facials are great, facial massage is of really good quality hard to come by in London (my fellow Russian ladies will relate). Besides, they use nice organic cosmetics: Japanese, if you go for Chidoriya, or Hungarian Essence and Japanese, if you take Integrated facial. I feel soooo pampered afterwards, they make you feel special with pre- and post-treatment tea, snacks and - most importantly - attitude. I tried Noriko (best, I think) and Rye. Chi Yu was excellent! I was visiting London and had sharp pain in my shoulders and neck. Chi Yu was able to make an appointment for me the same day, and the masseuse (named Ikumi) fixed me up, quickly finding the knots in my muscles and working them out. I had extreme tightness in my lower back, hips and quads after a flight from Los Angeles to London. Nothing I did -- yoga, walking, stretching, resting -- seemed to relieve the tension. I booked an appointment at Chi Yu Wellness Centre because of their 10% off Yelp coupon and same-day availability.My treatment was with Sky, a gentle, sweet Japanese woman. She listened carefully to everything I had to say and asked follow-up questions in order to get a clear understanding of what was going on. I'm sure treatment is different from client to client based on need but my massage was very gentle, relaxing and soothing. Sky took the time to carefully tend to all the problem areas. As I'm used to massages that are painful, however, I wondered if the treatment was "working." I had some residual acheness a few hours later, which told me that the treatment had been thorough and that my tense muscles were starting to relax. I haven't had problems with my back, hips and quads in about three weeks now, and I believe that Sky's massage, mild exercise and resting were the magical trio that did the trick. This place is a true gem to London and one of the few reasons why I wished I lived here!This is a great place in Marylebone area for a little R&R: Japanese massages and facials are highly recommended here. There are various massage treatments but I'd recommend for you to let them know what you need and they are so good at coming up with a protocol of what you need. I was able to get a mixed treatment which was very interesting and at the same time extremely relaxing and helped me get some of those stubborn knots out!I had such a great time I came back and did the facials - to which I recommend using the embiance facial treatment. It was very holistic and I was so relaxed doing this massaging facial that I dosed off. I loved how the beautician asked me for my top concerns and she thoroughly explained to me what she will do to work out those concerns with a mixed treatment.I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese treatments - the people are great here, highly and very well trained (they show certificates of everyone and their specialties downstairs), and excellent products/services. Picture this: sitting at my desk on Baker Street. All of a sudden, piercing pain right between my shoulder blades from.. .oh, probably 10 years of sitting at a computer hunched over and slouched. You know that burning knot feeling? Yes that. I was dreaming of some relief and started to do a quick search on Yelp for somewhere quite near my office. Nothing too laborious as my day was packed...so just a quick tune-up via chair massage was in order. Chi Yu to the rescue! Lovely staff and very welcoming. From making the appointment, to arrival, and situation all the way to checkout and bidding them adieu, everyone was so very nice. Somewhat sad that this is not a given, but in London it certainly isn't! This makes Chi Yu stand out. I made an appointment for same day with Rie, who was great. I was escorted downstairs to the treatment area, and given 30 minutes of chair massage. Brilliant, just what I wanted. She was very communicative and definitely helped ease the tension. I probably need one every day for a month to really work it out, but this really helped. I took a menu and will definitely be back. Really like the vibe of this place, the atmosphere (also SUPER clean), and the service offerings. I went to Chi Yu when it first opened and I have been going back ever since. It's definitely the best place I have been to in London for wellness massage. I am addicted to reflexology and so I usually have a half hour or an hour session, which they combine with massage to target stressed areas on my back or shoulders. Inevitably I go for reflexology when I'm feeling at my London worst (which means stressed and sleepless) and the effects last for around three to four days afterwards for me. Other treatments I have enjoyed there is Cranio Sacral therapy, which is an incredibly light touch massage but wonderfully effective and the Eminence organic facial is also really amazing. It's a very special place  literally from the moment you walk in the door you feel relaxed, as you are served a cup of specially blended herbal tea. All the therapists are lovely and take time to find out how you are feeling physically and emotionally before tailoring your treatment to suit your exact requirements.
