I wish I could retract my previous review, this company were happy to take my money and were fine up until I had to make a claim.
This insurance company are horrendous, I've had the unfortunate luck of having to put a claim in with them, following on from the theft of my bracelet and having to deal with the police being stressful enough , on top of that I have just been consistently lied to by members of staff, fobbed off and out right ignored by this company. It has been weeks since I have last had any correspondence from anybody, I have called up and have again been fobbed off, told I will be called back and yet I receive nothing. More time has passed by and I am still yet to know anything of any use that will put me at ease during this very stressful time. I will NEVER be using your services again, nor would I recommend your services to anybody.
I have given a 1 star rating due to my own personal experience with this company, they have dealt with me very poorly and have left me in the dark for weeks, lied to me and have fobbed me off for over 9 weeks!

I would not provide a SS# to obtain a quote. Steve followed up with me on my survey response, voicing my displeasure that a SS# was necessary for a quote. He contacted me, explaining why. I responded not to waste his time or mine justifying it. I shared I had 6 other quotes and not one of these asked for my SS#. Each year the price has reduced and the service has never faltered. I have a high value ring I wanted insured and I'm exceptionally pedantic and expect a lot from an insurance company.For example, I would want exact like-for-like replacement and if that cannot be provided I would expect a cash payout, which Chelsea Insurance provides. I also want to be treated like a human. It's so easy for an insurance company to invalidate your insurance if you breathe wrong. Slight exaggeration I know, but if I want to wear my ring on a necklace, some companies feel a ring is only for the finger and wouldn't cover it. Not Chelsea Insurance - so long as the ring is on my person it's insured.It's that level of insurance consideration I want. And I'm careful, so I double checked them with Companies House. They are the private customer branch of the bigger Kensington Insurance.Furthermore, I'm a sticker for excellent customer service. For the last few months, whilst investigation my choices, I have been messaging and asking many many questions of a lady called Kristina. She has had infinite patience with me, answered all my questions, but never made me feel pressured. So seriously impressed. She has been great.Sold.
