I just had my first personal shopping experience with Charlotte and it blew my mind. Not only did she smash the brief, she made the experience really fun and informative! She analysed my body shape, did my colours and then proceeded to compile a selection of outfits I would NEVER have picked off the rail - wow. The first one looked amazing and it just got better and better from there. The only down side is I completely blew my budget! I recently treated myself to some 'time' for a much needed wardrobe overhaul. Charlotte visited my house for a wardrobe edit and colour consultation and in an efficient and fun 3 hours Charlotte cleansed my wardrobe of dusty never to be worn again items, tailored some others so I now wear them with confidence, and created new outfits from what I already had. Charlotte is sensitive to our busy lives so is fast and efficient but at the same time makes it lots of fun! Charlotte has a great sense of style and has introduced the concept of colour back into my wardrobe. Charlotte is a life changer and total joy bringer! Her session was worth every penny... I now have a clear idea of what styles suit and which colours to wear. Managing family life and work had meant clothes shopping had become a burden as I just didn’t know where to start and I felt overwhelmed. Not anymore! With Charlotte’s expert eye in style and genuine focus on the individual, I have (almost) banished grey, wear colours which brighten my days and shop strategically. Charlotte’s follow up is bespoke and detailed and enables you to dip back into it before shopping and save precious time before hitting the shops/going online. I had been clinging onto a wardrobe of grey and black for a decade, glimmers of nice items peaking out in the crush but rarely worn. Confused and lost about what good looked like and resigned to accepting me and my late 40s en route 50... oh dear. Enter Charlotte and within 30 seconds I knew this was a good idea. Two cups of tea and a number of charity bags later I could finally see the back of my wardrobes, I had a range of clothes that (I already owned) now making me look like a version of myself that I remembered from about 6 years ago! I looked 5 lbs lighter (I have the before and after photos to prove it) and I hadn't done a single press up or a day of the 5:2 diet. I now know what colours and shades suit me and in fact light me up. Necklines and trouser shapes that make such a difference, I can't believe I hadn't worked it out before. I now want to go and buy new clothes and I know what to buy. About 10 items are off to Charlotte's taylor to be turned into items that work, including turning a coat I had considered chucking into a rufurbished design that looks bloody fantastic! Hello Googler. So, I bought 'the full Charlotte experience' as a birthday gift for my partner, Siobhan, and I can honestly say it was the best present I have ever given her. Some might think having a personal stylist is not for regular guys and I did have a certain amount of apprehension going into it but WOW . .. Charlotte is amazing. Knowledgeable, energetic and infectiously passionate, not just about fashion but about wanting you to look and feel as good as you possibly can.

We went through colours to see what works with my skin tone, then onto what's currently in my wardrobe, trying on everything and mixing different styles + layers. We looked at what I need to add including accessories, which I'd never really given much importance too and now have a shopping list of styles, colours and fabrics that suit me, instead of guessing and wasting money on clothes that do nothing for my shape, height and complexion.

Having previously just thrown on a pair of jeans, a shirt and a jacket, I'm now thinking more about colours, layers and actually trying to create my own style (look out Daniel Craig & David Beckham !!) I have instantly gained self confidence and rather than buying clothes as a functional necessity, I now can't wait to go shopping ... with Charlotte.
