Marc, Jonathan and their team are incredible. From our first telephone conversation we knew that these guys were going to make our wedding day menu all that we wanted, and they pulled out more than we could imagine! The food was totally amazing and we had so many compliments from our guests. Our venues staff were awful and when I spoke to Marc the day before mid breakdown(!) he reassured me and did everything he could to help including turning up with an iron the morning of our wedding to iron the table cloths! Would and will recommend time and time again. They are fantastic, very reasonably priced, they made sure we were okay from start to finish and ensured all our guests were happy. Thank you!!! More...

Marc & Jonathon made us & all of our guests feel like royalty all day! My highlight of the run up to our wedding was our special tasting menu evening at our home with our parents! They are both so wonderfully friendly & professional! Leading up to the wedding nothing was too much, too odd or too last minute! They made us feel like anything was possible - and they delivered! The most compliments I have had about our wedding was how wonderful the caterers were (& incredible the food was!). My pregnant friend still gushes about how Marc was back & forth with cups of tea for her so she didn’t have to get up! **WOW** **WOW** **WOW** - 10/10 - 5* We feel words cannot describe how perfectly amazing Caviar and Chips have been but we’ll give it a go. We were looking for caterers for our wedding start of the year and while shopping around requested that any companies we approached emailed us rather than called. Caviar and Chips were the ONLY Company that respected this and sent us a lovely email introducing themselves to us. From that point forward we dealt with one of the owners/Directors, Mark, who was the most wonderful person you could hope for. From that point forward we didn’t even consider using anyone else. He called us up, at a timing of our choice, to discuss menu options and once a decision had been made we arranged a time to sample a tasting menu. Mark came to our home to cook for us, he drove from Shropshire to Northamptonshire, and produced some of the most delicious food we had ever tasted. He catered for eight people and cooked three or four dishes of the six courses we had narrowed our menu down to. It really was food fit for a king! From that point forward Mark kept in constant contact with the manager of our venue making life very easy for us. He turned up the day before the wedding to set up a dining area for 100 people and made the place look amazing! On the day of the wedding Mark and his team cooked a superb three course meal and put out a wonderful cold buffet in the evening. Throughout the whole day they took complete control of all catering aspects, helped out the venue where needed and looked after all of our guests – they were particular attentive to the guests with dietary requirements. Feedback from everyone on the day has been nothing but great for Caviar and Chips, especially Mark who was there every step of the way. We will be recommending them to anyone we can as often as we can and can’t wait to have another event so we can use them again. The moment we met Marc and Jonathan we knew we had found the right people to cater our wedding. They understood the theme and atmosphere we were aiming for and offered plenty of great advice. The Tastings were excellent and we were encouraged to make changes, suggestions and discuss our ideas. On the big day Caviar & Chips were superb, the food was gorgeous, the service was friendly and professional. Andrew beavered away in the kitchen whilst Marc served cocktails and looked after us and our guests to much acclaim. At all times Marc and the team were calm, measured and almost serene in the way they organised and delivered every aspect and managed any ad hoc issues ensuring the whole event went without a hitch. What’s your signature dish?
We have so many to choose from across our food and drink menus. We'd have to say Caviar & Chips canapes of course, but then some popular choices are Steak Tartare as a starter, followed by Cotswolds Lamb and Chocolate Tart with Pistachio.
A nice touch to bring out to guests as a pre-dessert is a Gin Granita which is just delicious and then one of our BBQ favourites are Beef and Horseradish Burgers with home-made piccalilli.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Typically we will begin with an email exchange or a phone call where we ask lots of questions to make sure we know what is required and expected.
We'll then draft a format and menu(s) for the day and aim to meet in person so we can ensure we have every single detail covered. We then finalise details and draft an itinerary as well and ingredient list to compliment the menu.
In the lead up to the day we arrange for a menu tasting so that the bride and groom are happy with every aspect of the menu and from here we can make any changes needed. Just before the day, we'll keep in touch and ensure all last minute details are covered.
On the day we keep in touch either with the bride and groom or wedding planner to make sure the bride and groom to just enjoy the day and know that any problem that may arise will be sorted.
What do you love most about your job?
The thing we love most about our job is exceeding our clients' expectations. We love every aspect of the planning and preparation, right through to the cooking and service on the day and when we hear how delighted the guests are - that's when we get great job satisfaction.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We created Caviar & Chips because we love what we do and we great enormous joy from working with Brides & Grooms to create the most memorable day possible. We're particularly focused on ensuring your guests receive exceptional service and so great attention goes into our menus, ingredient selection and guest experience.
