We used this venue for a large event, with almost 200 attendees. The evening proceeded extremely smoothly thanks to the professional, courteous and unobtrusive service provided by Cavendish. Rachel took my team around the venue before the event to explain how it would work on the evening, and answered all of our questions. The main event room is very spacious, and the AV package covers all of your tech needs. The post-event break out area was large enough to cater for all of our guests, and many remarked upon the fascinating old Roman wall that still exists there.We will certainly use this venue again as it is convenient for City firms to get to, with Tube and overground stations in easy walking distance. This is the first time I've wished there were more than 5 stars. Truly excellent venue and service. They put up dementia-friendly signs, served wonderfully healthy and fresh food separately plated and clearly labelled with ingredients and allergy information, and made sure all our guests were welcomed, guided and supported to have a good experience. Great venue for corporate events - within easy reach of several tube/train stations. Friendly and helpful staff who are always happy to help and answer queries. Food was really nice - from pastries (two morning coffee breaks) to cakes (afternoon coffee break) to salad bar at lunch time with hot selection - very accommodating with special dietary requirements.
