Carnoustie Creative have given us a very professional service from initial ideas for our website through to the finished product. For what could have been a complicated schedule of work, they made the process of building the site easy. I found the advice very helpful and the end product reflects what I wanted for my company and all at a affordable price. The after care has been excellent and adding more pages etc. has been straightforward. I have no hesitation in recommending Carnoustie Creative to any business large or small. More...

What makes a great website?
A great website is created with the target market in mind, fulfilling the key objective of it's owners. It is fast loading, built using well supported standard technologies and is accessible to as many people as possible. A great site will carry through the branding of the owner and be easy to update so it can be kept current. It will look great on mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktop PCs.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
- What is the purpose/objective of this website?
- Who is the main audience intended to be?
- Are there any key project deadlines that are already fixed (like a product launch date, or opening day)?
- What is your budget?
- Do you already have a logo/brand/colour scheme that the new website should use or should this be developed as part of the site?
- Do you already have content for the site? If not, do you require our help with content creation?
What do you love most about your job?
I love the diversity of the individuals and organisations we work with. Everything from larger organisations like charities and establish companies through to new startups and family businesses. Helping them to find their place online and provide creative solutions to their requirements is very satisfying.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for many years in blue chip companies - often as a consultant or contractor - and was frustrated only being able to control a small part of the solution and having to work within slow-moving bureaucratic processes.
Why should our clients choose you?
Carnoustie Creative offers value for money solutions based on standard technology that can grow with your business. Our passion is making you look good online.
