Lisa is amazing! I have worked with other trainers, and she is the best by far. Her motivational techniques are awesome, as she had me doing things I didn’t even know I could do. She will always make you feel as comfortable as possible, while embarking on change, which can be uncomfortable anyway. She has continued to be a support to me, and her knowledge about the body and food is unsurpassed. Thank you Lisa! More...

First of all, there simply are not enough words to explain how amazing Lisa is. I stumbled upon her profile on thumbtack and after speaking to her on the phone I instantly knew I wanted to work with her. I started working with her in October of 2018 and she is the most kind, caring, compassionate, and hardworking person. You can tell she truly cares about each individual she works with. She is a wealth of knowledge and a ray of light. Her training sessions are challenging but you won’t mind because you love being around her. She has helped me see my potential and has helped push me out of my comfort zone. I have gained 8 lbs of muscle with her program and can’t wait to see the future results as I compete this Spring. I’ve always worked out on my own with little to no instruction outside of YouTube videos and free workout apps. I’ve never had a personal trainer before. Lisa was my first introduction to how working out and eating right should be done. She has a way of coaching you that doesn’t feel like your just going through the motions with the trainer. She truly cares about your progress and wants you to succeed. That plus a hand crafted workout and nutrition plan were the keys to my success. I lost a total of 11 pounds of body fat and gained 6 pounds of muscle over the course of 3 months on an 80% vegetarian 20% vegan diet. I truly believe I wouldn’t have gotten the results that I got without the guidance of Lisa Anne. She’s amazing at what she does and I highly recommend her to anyone wishing to reach any kind of fitness goal. More...

Working with Lisa has been such a rewarding experience. I went from feeling so out of shape and intimidated by the gym to feeling proud of the progress and knowledge I’ve gained. Her workouts are never boring and the tailoring she put into my workout and nutrition plan are impressive. Along with getting stronger and losing weight I’ve learned so much from her on nutrition, how the machines work, gym etiquette, correct form and safety. I'm going to admit, I was sceptical when I first started working with Lisa. Personal trainers have never been my thing. I gave it a shot though and I am glad I did! Lisa is just so sweet, so motivational, and her passion for her profession really shows in everything she says and does. She always makes herself available and lends the extra support needed. For example, she pinpointed things I needed to check out from me just mentioning how I felt. That is quite amazing! Her advice really helped me start getting everything in a row to make me want to be the best version of myself again. Not what I originally had in mind, and it's hard work, but everything in life takes time and dedication. I would recommend her to my best friend! In fact, one of my best friends actually recommended me to her, because she had helped her change so much. Funny note: I nicknamed her "psychologist" to be sarcastic, but she definitely adds that aspect into her program. If you are looking for a quick fix, Lisa probably isn't the right person. But if you are looking to make a lifestyle change, I couldn't recommend a better person. Xo More...

I don' even know where to start. Lisa is positive, encouraging, and will challenge you to become the best version of yourself. I have always wanted to compete, and Lisa is so supportive, but she also reminds me to give myself grace in the process. She teaches you to love your body, to use food as fuel not as an enemy, and also how to trust the process. I've been training with her for a month a half, eating more than I've ever eaten, and my body is changing so fast! I feel like I met Lisa and started training with her for a reason. When I first came to her, I had been on some intense regime and diet with hopes of competing some day, and my body wasn't feeling or looking healthy at all. After meeting and talking with Lisa for the first time, I knew it was meant to be. She has perfected my macros, and her workouts are challenging, and I'm seeing those gains! She is very professional, good to her word, and the workouts are challenging in a good way. Needless to say, after training with her for a few months, I'm so much healthier and I even look healthier, and I feel like a champion. I'm three months out from my first competition, and I am almost there because of Lisa's training, help and support. She is truly dedicated and passionate about fitness, and cares about all of her clients progress. Lisa really knows what she is doing, I workout at the gym she attends and know quite a few of her clients. Lisa at Carma Fitness is amazing. I'm so glad to have her as my coach. She has pushed me and motivated me to help me get my results in just 4 months! She can work with anyone whether your a man or a woman, in shape or out of shape...she does not turn away from anyone. All you gotta do is work hard and put in the time. Lisa is also all natural when it comes to fitness which is great and means your results are all you and it's a great feeling. I began my fitness journey about five months ago, about two months ago is when Lisa began working with me as a client. In a matter of two months I have lost about 6% body fat and about 8lbs. In my short time with Lisa I have been able to shift my body, mindset, and outlook on fitness goals. When I first started working out, my head-space was filled with negative self-talk. This self-talk mostly rooted in doubt. I doubted I would be able to meet or achieve my goals. When it came to fitness I knew one thing; I knew how to fail when it came to my fitness goals. I’ve tried losing weight in the past, but failure and unsustainable habits was all that came out of it. While it has only been two months going on three Lisa has believed in me as a trainer even when all I had was doubt. Because this journey of losing weight is so personal, having a trainer like Lisa has made all the difference this time around. This shout-out does not do justice to her ability as a trainer and this shout-out does not come close to describe Lisa as a person. I would recommend Lisa as a trainer to anyone who is ready to take the next step in their fitness and health but feel that they need structure and guidance. More...
