Five stars is not enough to show how great Carl Woodward Photography is. Right at the beginning after meeting Carl in our local coffee shop, from the the first handshake we knew we had found our photographer. Carl is friendly, warm, professional, and its so clear to see that he is completely passionate about his work. Neither of us are comfortable having our photos taken and Carl was quick to put us at ease. Once we had hired Carl, he was great at answering qs no matter how silly I think our fav "is 35 bags of confetti enough for a confetti shot". Just in case anyone is wondering the answer - it's more than enough!! On the day everyone loved Carl, his friendly, funny nature made everyone feel comfortable and confident. He captured our most beautiful moments from our day, from bridal prep, Brides father's first look, ceremony, bridesmaids fooling around and our first dance, Carl stayed so late into the night to get fantastic photos from our dance floor and even got the most loved shot of day our champagne shot. Carl presented our photos in a gorgeous box that is personalised to us. We honestly cannot recommend Carl Woodward Photography enough. We plan on keeping in touch with Carl and hopefully have some family shots done in the future. More...

We had the pleasure of Carl Woodward photography capturing our special day. Carl went above and beyond what we expected from him. He was more than willing to take all the photos we asked for and guided us when the posing photos were being taken. Carl has caught some real special moments of ourselves and the guests. Most of the time we didn't even know he was there. As mentioned earlier, Carl went above and beyond and stayed late in to the evening to capture the dancefloor party along with our special shot. Carl covered our wedding on 25th April 2019. We had the most amazing day and Carl was fantastic, from start to finish. From bridal prep to the first dance Carl was one of the family. Everything was very relaxed, very calm. Unlike other photographers I'd observed at other weddings he wasn't intrusive or bossy. Carl shot our wedding at the beginning of May and we’re so happy he did! From the very beginning he’s been so responsive, interested and excited with us.
The engagement shoot was excellent to get used to being in that situation for the first time. We took our young spaniel with us and Carl managed to get some good shots of him - a hard task! On the day he was so laid back and relaxed, he added to the overall atmosphere. He laughed with us all day and everyone that met him loved him. Spending the morning with the girls he fit right in and made the nerves disappear. His attitude all day was, if you’re happy then I’m happy. He’s so passionate about his work and it really shows. We’ve had a preview of photos and they’re beautiful. I absolutely cannot wait to see the rest! I’m so glad Carl captured our special day, I wouldn’t of wanted anyone else! We would 100% recommend Carl Woodward Photography if you want a fun, relaxed day with lovely photos.
