Q&As

Seeing family stress levels reduce because they know their loved one is at home with a well trained care worker. More recently with the Covid-19 Pandemic and so nice to know that we are keeping people safe at home. NHS research confirms people who stay at home get much better outcomes and I am glad to be at the fore front of providing very good care at home.

The desire to make a difference and minimise the need for institutional care for vulnerable people who should continue to enjoy being at home and staying in control.

We employ our own care workers and provide a fully managed service. We are regulated by the CQC, NHS and local authorities. Rated Good and Outstanding by CQC.

Respite care means taking a break from caring, while the person you care for is looked after is looked after by Care 1st Homecare.

It lets you take time out to look after yourself and helps stop you becoming exhausted and run down.

There are lots of respite care options. They range from from visiting care workers or a care worker lives in for a week or longer.
